Both of those reasons along with starring Frank, and Stacey being a better twist villain are why I prefer Off the Record over the original 2, no disrespect to Chuck though.

Ending F is so weird because they reuse the same aggressive animations for the soldiers but the dialogue is all peaceful like "sorry about grabbing you out there Mr West, we're just rounding up the survivors".
They don't like frank, considering what the army has done in the first game It wouldn't be hard to imagine that frank wrote a pretty mean story about them
Even though this whole DLC is the main game but with recycled cutscenes and storyline. Its still really good and fun. I dont think any other game could get away with something like this
It is a what if this dlc is not canon the whole point of this dlc is just what if frank west was the main character instead of chuck and that chuck couldn’t save his daughter
damn stacy's more of a true villain than sullivan was in the original... seriously sullivan's not a "great" villain...more of a great supporting character... shame though ms chang's survival ain't cannon
True, this is much better than the canon, Rebecca lives and Sully was too obvious as a villain anyway, he's so aggressive and standoffish to everyone but with this twist he's more of a red herring and it turns out he was, in fact, just a really dedicated security guard, I love what they did with his character in this more than the main Dead Rising 2 story, Stacey was a better villain.
I’m wishing for a third version where both Frank West and Chuck Greene are involved. Think of it as a case west except it’s the whole thing and the interactions change depending on whether it’s Chuck, Frank, or both players.

No, but Capcom said they're only interested in more "remasters" right now. Seeing Devil May Cry and Resident Evil get 'remasters', I wouldn't be surprised if Dead Rising 1 gets one soon. It really deserves it too, since it's still only on 360
I think that Theodore (the first boss with the pet tiger) was my least favorite death because all he was was a guy who was mistreated as a person and had a best friend who was a tiger. And then he spent his last dying words sacrificing himself so that his friend could live.
Yeah theodore is guy whom I felt the most pity and sympathy He's only looking out for his pal Snowflake and probably would have joined you had Chuck/Frank not said the word "Slow" as that is his anger button his mental handicap has led to him being bullied his entire life. And even as a Psychopath, he was only killing people to ensure Snowflake's survival not out of malice or enjoyment
It seems They Needed To act In a antagonistic Manner Because They Inprisioned Chuck In the Car In the Original Game, But there Is No Reason For then To Act Like That with Frank or Put him On Cuffs So The Developers had to Make a Excuse

After that cutscene plays and you regain control, Frank will say some different lines like "why is it always vents" or "they never think to try the vents"
They were people before they turned. Making a game about people beating on corpses is pretty fucked up. While I wouldn't treat a zombie as a person, they were human before.
Canonically, the hosts do die, and the larvae of the wasps connect themselves to the nerv-system in order to control the body. So yeah, TiR is beating up corpses.
What's best about this is Sullivan dying a hero instead of a backstabbing bastard. Exactly what I wanted, Rebecca always did seem more likely to be evil.

I prefer this game despite being non-canon because I just like frank west more than chuck, I ship him with rebecca, and i think his one-liners are awesome (cheesy but awesome) plus I think frank and TK are more fitting as enemies

Deryck Garcia Actually, the cutscenes are different. Raymond isn't the traitor, Stacey is, and Rebecca survives instead of Stacey. Also, Katey died three years ago and Chuck replaces Leon. Most of the dialogue between Frank and Rebecca is changed since they've know each other for three years.
When Frank meet the chef I understood why he saw Frank as a reviwer he wears a suit and everything, and is it me or is Frank naturally unfazed by threats look at his face when the chef was going to make him dinner.
I know but i feel like he would at least his eyes would go up by surprise or go oh I'd like to see you try. He still jumps when crystal or amber show up.

I don't know what it is but I like off the record way more then the original and it's not just because frank west is the protagonist that's why I consider off the record canon and not the original
@Chandller Burse the thing I liked about overtime mode is unlike Off the record where you’re on a time limit to take your Zombrex, you can hand Isabella 9 queens and hand her the last one later to goof around, then you’re locked in the tunnel
The one different thing I questioned is Why is Brandon Whittaker in a cut scene with TK. It is just weird that they didn't mention it in the original dead rising 2
In Ending B, I just can't believe that frank survived hordes of zombies(like in the boxing match at the start of the game or fortune city itself), A giant robot mechanism, side bosses and main bosses but can't beat an elevator full of zombies. why.
timestamps? In Case 1-1, the doctor exited the field of followability at the last millisecond before I entered the safehouse, so I skipped the next cutscene so I could go back for her. Now I have no idea what happened and being able to skip to the exact cutscene would be nice...
Why ship them? I mean you're allowed to. Frank isn't interested in the female's he comes across during his travels. XD Oh, who am I kidding?, shippers are going to ship.
I would love to see a version of this story implanted into dead rising 4 it would have been a good obviously it would have to be different but u get what I mean the beginning part
Someone needs to edit both together and somehow put Chuck and Frank in the same cutscenes with editing and dubbing of their lines to fit each scenario and make it look like they both exist by talking to each other as well as everyone else talking to them. Just cut out the fight with Chuck as a psychopath and replace it with a tag team fight with Frank and Chuck vs Leon and Evan. Keep the story as Chuck being framed and Stacey as an ally, but put in that both Frank and Katey need zombrex. Have it look like both Frank and Chuck are talking to Sullivan and defeat him together. Even splice together ending S with ending A with Chuck and Frank saving Stacey and Katey from TK, then have them all get away by chopper as a zombified TK stares at them flying away before the place gets firebombed.
