Yep!! I saw a post once where someone said “if I were stranded on a deserted island and could only take one thing, I’d take sam Winchester because then dean would come and rescue us” And if that’s not the truest thing I’ve ever heard haha
Elettra Pierannunzi right!!?? Because a) it’s a good way to see if whoever you’re talking to gets the joke and b) it’s completely logical in a fictional sort of way haha
Yeah, the show does an amazing job at writing the brothers. I have three younger brothers and I can't tell you how many times I've said "Me" at something Dean has said/done to Sam
"How did you get here?" "I uh, stole a car." "*laughs* THAT'S MY BOY!" I love it when he says that, cuz it really hits home that John didn't raise Sam, Dean did. :)
Serious. John may have been the father who layed down with Mary to make Sam but Dean was the Dad. He was there. Always. Took care of Sam. Worried for Sam. Taught Sam. Loved Sam. You name it, Dean covered the base. He wasn’t perfect. Far from it. But his effort didn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. Both turned out to be great men who grew up to do great things.
I think Mary and John really loved their boys but Mary made a deal with Azazel wich would later mean that Sam got demonblood in him, she died, John focus was on revenge where it should have been to his sons.
@@Keira_Blackstone I know yeen just say that 😭 Sam would’ve died early on probably if it weren’t for Dean he stayed with him ALWAYS & fed him religiously
I love when Dean is the older brother. It shows how close they really are, and no matter how much they grow up dean will always look out for his Sammy. And Sam will always want that.
Lol, Sam DOESN'T want that. All their problem is because Sam doesn't need the level of protection Dean gives him. The man is obsessed with Sam's safety.
@@amberxv4777 if you watch closely, you'll notice that even though Dean's over protectiveness does annoy him sometimes, mostly Sam understands Dean's emotions and let's his big brother do his thing because inside, he loves having a brother like Dean around him.
@@wajihaabbas9295 I didn't say he doesn't understand Dean or love having him. But I think what Sam loves in Dean is his ability to always count on him and love him. Also he kinda have a hero-worship towards Dean
@@amberxv4777 the fact that he loves to count on his big brother pretty much says that he has no real issues with Dean protecting him. I am not saying that Sam is nothing without his brother's help, but as seen many times in the show, he often does need Dean's support to stay safe and vice versa . In short, they both need each other.
@@wajihaabbas9295 there's a difference between counting on someone because you need them and protecting someone because you're too overprotective. Sam likes Dean to treat him like an independent adult and let him do his own thing. But of course he's grateful for having such a great brother like Dean to always count on. I'm not saying that I don't like Dean's overprotectiveness. I think it's sweet. But Sam's reaction to being annoyed by it is also understandable
“That’s my boy” I’m going to sob if they put that on the last episode of s15 (Edit: thank you for the likes,I was expecting like 3 and that’s about it. Have a terrific day! ❤️❤️)
I couldn't disagree more. To me the entire show is a horror tragedy about an abusive narcissist and his younger brother who has abused partner syndrome so severe that he structures his entire life around what he thinks his abuser wants, which still doesn't stop him from being constantly belittled for any differences or interests he has outside their relationship.
1:28 my favorite dean line ever!! Or I guess it’s a snippet. “Don’t worry about sam” “I’m sorry have you met me” And my fav sam line ever is (when he’s in the cage with Lucifer) “eventually, sooner than you think, my brother is gonna walk through that door and kick your ass” Guess I’m a sucker for protective dean/reliant sam 💜
As the eldest.. I sincerely want my sister and brother to just listen without having a stupid argument which is they won but in the end I was right.. *deep sigh* "I told you so"
"My entire life, you've protected me, from Dad, from Lucifer, from everything. I didn't always like it, you know, but it's the one thing in the whole world that I could always count on. It's the only thing I've ever known that was true."
2:00 omg Dean always does that no matter what how old Sam is 😂❤️ in season 3 Sam wanted to go alone in the woods and Dean didn’t want it. But Sam went anyway and Dean’s big brother instinct was right because Sam get kidnapped after that
I love how embodying a typical big brother energy isnt comprised of one sort of behaviour. Like, Sam being a little brother videos are all him being a little shit in one form or another, but this is a mix of the big brother style of being a little shit, and then protectiveness at the total other end of the behavioural spectrum.
I love how Dean is always so protective of Sam. If Sam isn't safe Dean is always right there. I love that brotherly protection and bond between the two of them
Skully why don’t we talk about Crowley? I’m 2 seasons behind. Did he do something? I mean other than everything he ever did leading up to his death in the other world
@@danarenee6088 I'm not gonna spoil anything for you, but you're in for a treat, we could talk about it when you're up to date if you want, you can add me on Instagram if you'd like @adibuchan
No! That line, "Who's this hippie?" was one of the most heartbreaking pranks Dean could have pulled on Sam then. Although I knew it had to be a joke, it still hurt.
@@nadinefayad5962 Oh no. I was talking about the episode where Dean was losing his memory and Sam got Rowena to reverse the spell that was causing Dean to lose his memory. They were unsure if it would work but Dean being a little shit, decided to prank Sam on spot and say, "Who's this hippie?" as soon as he walked down the steps, implying, the spell hadn't worked. Sam's reaction was heartbreaking like truly, he couldn't imagine anything worse than having his brother not know who he was. Then Dean was all like "Classic! Kinda like the time I ate all your Halloween candy."
I firmly believe that nobody what you think about Supernatural’s quality in later seasons, Sam and Dean have 100% the most accurate and well written sibling relationship in tv history. No matter how bad a season was, their relationship was still insanely well written and well acted through it all.
Dean:Man, i've been slinging pool cues since before you were born. Sam:🤨what when u were 4 really? What? between naptime and snack. Line that gets me all the time.
“Hahah that’s my boy!” Not only does this resonate with me as an older sibling because let’s be honest as an older sibling you take as much of a part raising your siblings up like their your own kids. Which includes bad decisions and questionable actions. But also because like always this is a scene of Dean being proud of his little bro. It was cute!
Dean asking 'Who's this hippie?' pissed me off so much. Sam's face was a look of pure fucking horror, I felt so bad for him, because even after Dean started laughing and said he was joking Sam's face didn't change, I swore he was going to break down in tears.
2:38 is every eldest sibling when they found out one of their younger siblings goes through their things. Just the barely contained rage but knowing if your parents hear you yelling at them you’re in trouble
The not so subtlety of having the instrumentals of an iconic bisexual anthem as the background music for a video all about Dean Winchester is awesome 😂💕
Dean: Where's Sam? Crowley: Don't worry about Sam. Dean: Oh, I'm sorry. Have you met me? True. Because 90% of the show is Dean worry over Sam. The other 10% is them killing demons and all the other stuffs.
