Thanks for another great video. They have helped me move from where I was, and what I held as true, to be as I am now. Leaving RC (and Christianity) was painful in the sense of feeling guilty doing so after being born and bred in it. That left a big hole in my life. However, I found Stoic philosophy as a way of living my life and this has more than filled that hole. As regards God I favour your stance. It seems so much more resonable and meaningful. Currenttly I'm researching pansychism with its view that all has consciousness from the simple to the complex. This seems to me to ally with the Stoic concept of living with nature/god. BTW thanks for your book. I have read it a few times. Best wishes.

Thanks John. It’s good to see that my videos are doing some good. So many religions get their hooks into people so deeply; it is hard to get out. Yet all the evidence against Christianity is there if one looks at it objectively. The question of God’s existence is something I think one cannot pin down. But if God exists, it surely is not the Christian God. I just try to be a good person, make life better, enjoy life. And try to have a stoic attitude towards things I can’t do anything about, or can’t understand as a limited human being. Best to you.

34:26 - What always gets me about idea of the Transfiguration fulfilling Matt 16:28 is that Jesus clearly said some of the disciples standing there would not taste death until they saw the kingdom event...which necessarily means "some" _WOULD_ taste death before it happened. So if the Transfiguration was the fulfillment, I'd like to know which disciples died during those six days between Matt 16:28 and Matt 17:1? If none of them died, then Matt 16:28 was not describing the Transfiguration.

@@2994485 Thanks. Recent vids deal with Psalm 22.

Hey Miklos go to confession and get your ass to Mass on Sunday. Outside the Catholic Church there is absolutely no salvation 🎉

Why should I cede authority to an organization that ran the Inquisition, collaborated with the Nazis, and covered up child molestation? That would be immoral of me.

Your logic fell flat on Jesus ressurection. You picked & chose what you want or not to believe, so nothing is going to convince you.

I disagree. It is very logical to believe a person existed but to doubt the miracles attributed to that person. You yourself believe Mohamed existed, but doubt his miracles, do you not? We agree there and we are not being illogical. And it is not true at all that nothing will convince me. If Jesus taught the right things, I might be convinced. And, sure, he was right about loving your neighbor, but was wrong about many other important things.
