Younger than 30? Think you need your eyes checked man. She looks good for her age definitely. But if you look like this at 30 you’re doing something wrong
Yeah she's great! The fact that she had the privilege of designing Indy's fashion is amazing! I got to get her on my Indiana Jones podcast and interview her!
I never seen The Blues Brothers all the way through. I never realized Steven Spielberg was in the Blues Brothers or that a meeting on the Blues Brothers was to talk about doing Indiana Jones.
@@guylewis7418 I know, but she said she got the hat from the Australian model and modified it. If Herbert Johnson made it, how could that be so? The Australian model has one side of the brim turned up on the left side and it has vent holes in it. Not the same hat at all.
She calls it the “Australian Model” with the upturned brim on one side. So where did the “Poet” title come into play? Deborah never mentions any hats made with that title. Seems like there’s some contradiction going on here…..
@@ramirodeiturralde8029 there are several movies and serials that Indy's look comes from. Secret of the Incas is just one of many. I think we're all fairly aware of the influences, and I'm fairly certain that the filmmakers have given these films credit when they've mentioned them as influences on multiple occasions. My point is that she didn't just "copy a look". There are a lot of differences in Indy's costume that are very different from Heston's. Also, she didn't just design one costume for Indy and call it a day. She outfitted the entire production. You're selling the costumer designer's job incredibly short if you think all she did was "copy a look".
Ok, so Steven gave her two movies as research "China" and "secret of the Incas". She literally just copied and pasted other costume designers outfits.....art thief
