@@alisown71 I got a winter cover with the cable to secure it. I’m able to get under the deck to secure behind it.

I liked them and I think they helped. I got them at my local pool supply store, not sure on the brand. Best bet would be to check with your local store for specific advice for your situation.

It would be so helpful if you made a video about how you winterized in MI, how long you have had your pool, issues and would you do anything different. We really enjoyed your videos and found them very helpful.

It was a Hayward pump and sand filter I had found used. I don't remember the specs on it, but it was definitely more than needed for this pool, which made it very easy to keep the pool clean, cycling the water much faster than a standard pump would.

I think it was a little over $3,000 for materials.

To make sure I'm on the right track...are your deck blocks 7×11×11?

The surface of the deck is 4’ wide at the narrowest point, 6’ long.
