In my life I found decluttering is such a help to my mental health. Both because of the dopamine rush of achieving little milestones along the way (seeing a new patch of floor!) But also because on a sensory level a messy room is a way less calming room. Good for you and hope you feel better!

I'm so sorry you've been struggling and been ~going through it~ One wardrobe trick I've been doing that's brought me a lot of joy is storing my out of season clothes out of sight so they don't overwhelm me when they're not useful. I just packed up my winter/fall items and busted out my spring stuff, which felt like getting a whole new wardrobe, and I can hardly wait to get into my summer dresses. I try on the new season items, donating what no longer fits my body or style, and it's really been helpful for sustainability and my mental load. Maybe try putting your out of season stuff away for now, and don't even worry about them until its time again. I hope you feel better soon 💜

Girl same, my whole home is like a landfill at the moment. I'd also suggest asking for help if you have friends or family who can lend an afternoon to help lessen the burden of cleaning/organizing... but I also get if not cause that's where I'm having troubles; no one to ask. 🙃 The only real thing I've been able to do besides trying to remember to actually take my meds is finding small little joys to fill up the emptiness to get through the day. Things like a homemade latte, having a good laugh with coworkers, feeling good physically playing soccer, decluttering ever-so-slowly and doing little art projects.
A couple of weeks ago I did that because there was some stuff that didn’t fit me anymore 😢 I had a cry session after that… I’m recovering from anorexia/bulimia 😫 to all the people struggling… stay strong and never give up 🙏🏻✨

24 is really weird, but thankfully these crisis feelings pass with a bit of time! You’ll get back to you. Even at 27 myself I’m so much more secure in myself than I was at 24, mentally, physically, really everything. Decluttering is a really good step to get some stress off your plate!
Try Dedicating 25 minutes or even 15 minutes of decluttering or deep work in every way every day and you will see a huge difference and if you can keep going do it for longer have us as accountable support I’m going through the same thing I’m working on changing that about myself I have grown more in confidence and need a different perspective and mindset but not loosing myself I am just saying that you will get through this you are a beautiful confident powerful woman I’m loving your vibe 😊

to feel youself, focus on others. And other peoples needs, and how u can help them and bring joy to them. Than after, you can tend to yourself and find your true self. This always works for me.. because when we focus to much on ourselves we tend to loose ourselves (trust me... ik) i think its just how it works. But selflessness brings the most self assurance. (FWY, i am not calling you selfish! its just something that works for me :)

I really needed this rn, the fact that when something is too small rn on you and you’re just totally okay with it and you’re getting rid of it. I’ve recently gained some weight and I’m about to declutter my wardrobe bc some pants don’t fit me which made me feel a little bit weird about myself when it’s literally okay, our bodies change and it shouldn’t make anyone feel shitty about themselves 🫶

Call the local health line in our area just to chat about being lost and honestly it could help. 13:45: I know what you mean about injury clothes superstition. I had a horrible bike wreck in these gorgeous tan Liz Claiborne t-strap pumps and they had blood stains on them so I thought it was bad luck to wear them but also bad luck to throw them out. The top is cool though. I like that it’s a weird off center square. Also super funny to me as a 40 year old that wet seal is sought after (no shade, it’s just funny how things change)
Incoming unsolicited advice! 😅 I think when we pin our sense of self on something as fickle and ever changing as fashion it can feel like we are never our selves because we are always chasing something new to complete our look, or us. I'm not saying give up fashion, because you are a wonderful advocate and example of sexy and beautiful plus size women. But perhaps you need something else that is more constant as well to ground you. Something that is less dependent on ever shifting trends. xx
