FOR SHOES PROBLEM TRY HEEL PADS also called heel cushions, and probably some other names. I have the same problem with 90% of the shoes I buy and those pads help almost always. Basically, it looks like a thick insole that was cut to fit only under the heel. They can be made of cork (I prefer those), but also silicone, felt, etc. There are also speciality tapes that you glue onto the back of your shoes, but I don't recommend, they always move, wrinkle, unglue themselves, and pads always stay put

about the Lana vinyl. Your line of thought is correct. They did the paradise EP with the slipcase after they released the Born To Die (Deluxe) which includes 3 bonus tracks.
