We are visiting Germany today decorating our Christmas tree in our family loft area. This area you just saw our Poland and Baltics tree. This tree has our Department 56 North Pole series village pieces tucked in the branches for our old Traditional german style buildings. You will see nutcrackers, pinecones, lots of red accents here a few gingerbread pieces. This tree was super fun to create. We have ancestors from Germany and always have elements from this country in our home for Christmas. Many traditional Christmas songs originate from Germany as well. I also show you some of our santa collection we have placed in this space for this year as well. We hope you enjoyed our German themed Christmas tree for 2023. I think this is my favorite tree other than the big living room one. The whole loft area is so cozy-just perfect! Love the giant pine cones!

Love the little Christmas village in the forest of the tree branches. Such a unique idea 😊❤ I have had the good fortune of visiting the countries represented by this tree , especially the German Christmas markets.

The tree is just too beautiful for words! You didn't skimp on a thing! I got a huge Jim Shore Santa 2005 "My true Love gave to me" at a yard sale. The original price tag on the bottom said $53 It was the last day of the sale and the lady asked me to offer her a price for it. I said $3 and she said "SOLD" I have since added to the collection and now have 5 pcs. For Thanksgiving there were just 3 of us, my husband, granddaughter and me. It was the day after my surgery, but, we still had a full turkey dinner. Our special holiday dish is homemade noodles, as far back as my grandmother's grandma. So my 13 yr old granddaughter was taught how to make them. I told her she was keeping up the family's tradition.
