Turn on the ECOVACS DEEBOT power switch. Once the DEEBOT is on, press the reset button for more than 6 seconds until there’s a music sound coming out. Once you hear the *beep* sound 3 times from the device, the DEEBOT has been reset. Congratulations, your ECOVACS DEEBOT has been reset. Hopefully that helps, then you should be able to re-connect the device to wireless, it will show up as Deebot N79 on your phone App, and go from there.
I've a DN622/N79. Never got the unit to work with my WiFi. Never saw ECOVACS_00xx at any time, and yes I tried everything (2.4), press for 1 beep, etc. etc.
That's disappointing to hear. Check with their customer service. I found they are super helpful without giving you the run-around. We had the same issue with one after 3 months connecting to WiFi and they sent us a brand new unit, no questions asked. It was a one-off issue I suppose, haven't had any other problems with 2 units we own.
Sorry to hear it's giving you troubles. Turn on the ECOVACS DEEBOT power switch. Once the DEEBOT is on, press the reset button for more than 6 seconds until there’s a music sound coming out. Once you hear the beep sound 3 times from the device, the DEEBOT has been reset. You can also Try holding in the button for 30 seconds and then release. Also be sure to pull off the front wheel if it's blocked up with hair or anything, and the same with the spinning sweepers. If all else fails, place it back onto the charging station and try holding in the button for 30 seconds and release. If it's still not going to cooperate try their customer service 1 844 326 8227 or customerservice@ecovacs.com
Have you tried to open the top cover? I’m trying do a factory reset and I can’t find out how. Thanks fir the video-I think I might need to replace my filter. 😣
Thanks for the comment! To do a factory reset, I think you need to power the unit on, then hold in the button on the top for like 30 seconds, you should hear a beep. Hope that helps!
I recently took mine completely apart to clean and get rid of a loud noise while running. The noise is gone, it seems to be working but I am concerned that I don’t feel any air coming out of the small exhaust on the side.
Is it still picking up and storing everything in the catch bin? I'd make sure there isn't anything blocking the exhaust port, but generally if it's still sucking in items, you are good. Thanks for the comment!
