I'm "glad" to know that the Edge Panel feature is not the exact same as One UI. I have been using it a lot lately and have predefined multiple apps at the same time with an already adjusted size. For example, RU-vid uses 30% of the screen at the top, and the rest of the screen is for scrolling social media. I have this already set up, so I only need to press one button, and it will do everything for me. I can't do this with one plus, right?
anyone inow if the slider knob can be disabled? I am about to order the phone, but that would be a deal breaker for me. Will watch this video if I buy it, thank you in advance :)
Great video and good content 👍🏽.. also the smart sidebar can be adjusted up and down on the right side of your screen. Just have to grab it from the top, and move it where you want to on the side.
I didn't know what Global Search was until I watched your video, Vernon. But I found how it works and how it can be changed. On my global version: Settings> Home Screen & Lock Screen> Swipe Down on Home Screen> reveals 3 options available: Shelf, Global Search, and Notification Drawer. But the slider you pointed out doesn't seem to change or disable it.
I thought I couldn't remove it from the home screen because turning off Global search didn't send to do anything. However, below that there's another search setting to turn off, and then search will be gone from the home screen.
Still here, all the way through... 👍🏽 I've had mine for about a week. Still haven't found out how to use a separate pic for Lock screen and a different one for Home screen like my Samsung's and LG's always did.
