as they said about the 1974 US summer stadium tour - i was at Kansas City's Kauffman/Royals baseball stadium show! The J. Geils Band was 1 of the intro acts!
I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Malcolm Vivaan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
When magic was still real. It's not just nostalgia or missing youth, and it's not just the musical era or the setting sun on a backdrop that still held some promise for tomorrow. Today's reality is completely saturated. Every single person almost has become an online show selling something. There has to be space in between for true magic to occur, and there's hardly any space anymore anywhere.
I did hear that Ritchie got the idea here, for the Rainbow band name and the (at the time) fantastic, computerised moving light show rainbow 🌈, which they had onstage with them in 1977. I saw them on the first UK tour. What a great band/stage show. Eventually the Rainbow started malfunctioning and its said that it was tipped into the ocean from a ship carrying it for a future tour. He revived the Rainbow briefly 3 years ago but quickly dropped it again as it was a pale imitation of the one now sleeping with the fishes. 🐡 🐟
The rainbow was suggested by a fan who called the promotor a week before the gig. Years later the promotor swore the voice sounded just like Ronnie Dio.
They were contracted to go on at sunset but the promoters wanted them to play at 6pm, thus Blackmore smashing the TV camera and almost blowing up the stage
@@colinfraser8317 Yeah, I knew about the contract thing (I guess I can kinda see both sides on that one), I just wasn't sure if it was this concert. There sure are a lot of people there. I bet it was a magical experience. 💜
