DEFA Power EV charger is open to all possibilities. The latest Open Charge Point Protocol, OCPP 2.0.1 replaces OCPP 1.6 and offers a seamless integration between the charging station and the backend system, which are completely independent of each other. It also enables smart charging and price optimization, advanced monitoring and diagnostics - as well as a completely new level of information security.
With OCPP 2.0.1, DEFA Power is ready for both Plug & Charge - automated access control between the car and the charging station - and Vehicle-to-grid - where power can be sent back from the car’s battery into the electrical grid.
