At age 71 some have told drag bike racing veteran Ron Meyer that he is too old to be on a Top Fuel Motorcycle. Well at the James Surber Big Money drag race at Somoa Drag Strip, Meyer, along with fellow 70-year-old Nigel Patrick silenced the critics who say they are too old when Meyer's Nitro Motorcycle met up with Patrick's turbo Hayabusa drag bike in the Western Pro Extreme Final round. Enjoy this motorcycle drag racing action and share with a friend who thinks they are too old to race a motorcycle.

I'm 71 years young and I still ride and will keep on riding until I can't anymore.I was born in1951 and ride an Indian Chief Vintage.

Old age and treachery will beat out youth and exuberance every time, from this 65 year old dragbike fan and former racer here! Still riding my turbocharged 1979 Honda CBX, bought it new way back when, still hauls the bacon even being a 44 year old bike!

I’m 51, just had a bad accident on the highway. Front fender dropped into the front wheel at 50mph. I had just bought it last winter. 59 Panhead. Lesson is check your Eqipment! I own more than 10 bikes. 2 rd350, 1 RZ 350, 72 triumph, 72 shovel, 76 shovel, 59 Panhead i crashed. 3 ct 90’s. 1 ct70. And a couple more. Its hard to keep track of everything, but necessary. Road rash is healed now i have 2 weeks left with my broken foot. Check your Eqipment or pay someone you trust.

Congratulations to you mister Myers I too am 71 born in 1952 I still ride motorcycles I have got a 650 Yamaha rigid frame which I put a suicide clutch and shaft Springer front end on it I still love it and we'll ride as long as this old man can ride and not fall down thanks for the videos congratulations to you mr. I think top fuel bike is the oldest field in all of motorsports. It doesn't compute because it's also the most insane. ALL THEM dudes are absolute badass oldtimers.

I'll be 57 tomorrow (7/21), love to turn my 79' KZ1000 ST into a drag bike. Put a WISECO 1200cc Drag Bike kit on it w/a blower.🙃

🆒😎👍! Fabulous! But these guys must be sick of you forever throwing their age all over the show. I am old now and absolutely hate it. They are normal people living continuation of there life's.
