M.K.D. He was clearly fatigued in the final. He had just come back from injury, and this was the furthest he had made it since returning. Delpo had won right matches to get to the finals, playing a 5 set match. I'm no Murray fan at all, but he was the fresher player that day, and he was lucky to have been playing against a fatigued Delpo (who still managed to grab a set). What a tournament from Delpo though.

He beat Djokovic AND Nadal in Rio 2016 (losing to Murray), pretty much without a backhand after wrist surgery, and beat Djokovic in London 2012 to win a medal (lost to Federer 17-15 epic final set). Even though he played in the absoluate prime peak of big 4 era he showed an amazing game+emotions to win the heart of tennis fans all over the world.

Maharshi Bhattacharyya look at Delpo though. He can't hit a two handed backhand without pain. He played against Elias today, about two or three weeks into his return after the Miami Masters and Indian Wells injury, and said he felt shoulder pain. Rafa not the only one to be cut down by injuries; delpo is suffering every day and it hurts to se him like this. Stillhas that mental strength but will likely never get back to 2009-11 Delpo level

Oh give me a break, will you? He said if this was a tournament in 2017 Nadal would've won. I said he wouldn't have reached this far because this was a hard court event (and we know Nadal's roadblock on hard courts this year). If he could imagine a hypothetical scoreline for a match, I'm perfectly alright to hypothetically imagine this match up wouldn't even have been possible. And speaking of improving English, you could do better with unnecessary usage of capital letters. You do know that 'mad' and 'drugs' are not proper nouns, or do you?
