This was the reason why Mig 35 with complete ToT under MRFA would be the most benificial to us despite it's lacklusture export performance. There would be almost no issues with it's mass production be it raw materials and engine and we could've easily integrated our indeginously developed technologies like AESA radar, RWR, Jamming pods, missiles, etc.

@@vishvajitkumar9497 Su57 in high numbers will be very costly to maintain. Plus the Geopolitical implications of having 100+ Russian 5th gen fighter is another issue we need to consider.

India has the 3rd largest Titanium reserves in the world, about half that of China, and 11% of all global reserves. However India does not mine and produce it in enough quantity locally. DRDO already has developed tech to produce titanium sponge from ore in 2011, and there are a few companies that produce it in very small quantities. Its time to scale that up big time!

We can turn adversity into opportunity by focusing even more on tejas mk2 and su30 upgrade problem is do we have not only technical (which we probably have) but professional managerial capacity to perform better than expectations on these projects. MRFA is not going to happen any time soon and even then no company in world will be able to deliver that order under 10 years after placing order. If we want to compete with china, we have to create miracles with our industry like they did. 👌👌👌👊👊👊👌👌👌 For the video, not for the delay. The disclaimer put above is necessary here , else some morons may make my comment viral & start some unnecessary controversy that MSM media might debate on.

India me agar ye Engine Makers Assembly line lagate hai toh chahe yoh Titanium alloy import kar sakte hai na from Russia?? Can we use this Oppertunity to get Engine makers setup plants in India??

We don't have control on foreign manufacturers and suppliers. But we had control on our own. But we don't have heart to expand internal manufacturing units by allocating sufficient funds. 1st thing our defense minister shld resign and take any other portfolios.

What if we scrap MRFA and initiate a government to government deal for Rafale? And try to shift the production line to India and expect to start delivery from 2030.

had read a possible outcome where Dassault opens a facility in India for MRFA orders plus the additional orders which it cannot satisfy with its current assembly. any chance of that happening?

Why we cant important titanium alloy from russia and export to france? plz make analysis

We have good trade terms with Russia. We should convince our foreign engine partner to start assembly line in india. And Indian vendors produce titanium alloy with russian raw material. Or we should change engine and ask Russia for local production of jet engines.
