I hope that he is able to stop smoking. An in-law in my family smoked for as long or longer than this gentleman and he was otherwise healthy; however, he lost the circulation in his legs and has undergone double amputation of his legs. Thanks to you and him for sharing this video, Dr. Jefferson.

Lol i know i can tell this man( patient) is lying about a few things. My bf is diabetic and we do not live together but i know when he tells the little white lies to keep me from asking questions about what he's doin. I know the DC doc is aware of this especially is older patients who don't like to be bothered. Its just funny listening when you know.

His toenails will remain the same due to the health of his toenails. To keep them decent, he will definitely have to stay up on his foot appointments. You can't wait for them to get bad. You make your condition worse..

My mom stopped smoking over 30+ years ago. Not only did her toe nails looked almost similar. She died of a heart attack. Please , I know it can be hard, please do stop smoking. It kills seriously. Lost my mom3 years and she stopped smoking over 30 years ago. I’m getting married. She won’t know.
