• Intimate tips on womanhood, marriage, and family life

I'm a Jewish educator, international speaker, and Transformation Coach. I'm the Founder of Rivka Malka's School of Coaching and Transformation, Redemption Retreats, and many other self-development programs. There’s a gift inside of us that is so big it can nourish the world. There is something for us to teach, be, and embody, that is literally the purpose of our existence. I help women go beneath the surface and help them walk through the fire as they grow into the great leaders they were meant to be.
I teach about cultivating our inner wisdom, helping us understand ourselves, our purpose, and the ways in which our situation is preparing us for the great future G-d has in mind for us.
The women I work with are passionate about growth and self-awareness. All women are leaders - some in their office, some in their homes, and some of entire cities. We are emotionally healthy and creative and are big dreamers. Most of all, we are committed to living lives of purpose.
Through my videos and programs, women catapult their business or personal lives to realms of influence, impact, and inspiration. They change their marriages, heal from trauma, release resentment, find freedom from limiting beliefs, and deepen their connection to G-d. It’s time to literally reinvent yourself.

Recipes:
Salmon: Spice with salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon. Fry for 5 minutes on high, then cover and let sit. (Note: After this video, I wasn't happy with how much it cooked and I baked it for another 20 minutes.)
Chockchooka: 1 Large Onion, 24 Oz Tomato Sauce, 10 Eggs. Fry onion, add tomato sauce and eggs. Cook covered on medium until eggs are done (about 10 minutes).
Chookchooka: (I spoke about this on video but I didn't make it because there was no pan available but it is amazing.)
1 WHOLE head of garlic (6-8 cloves) chopped, fried in 1/4 cup oil. Drain 2 cans of whole tomatoes and chop them. Add to garlic. Spice with 2 tsp cumin and hot pepper flakes to taste. Cook and stir on medium heat for 45 minutes until tomatoes begin to blacken.
Chicken Soup: 5-6 chicken thighs, 5-7 carrots, 2 sweet potatoes, 5 garlic cloves, 1-2 zucchini, 1 large onion. Cook for 3-7 hours.
Stuffed Mushrooms: Remove stems from 2-3 pk's mushrooms. Chop stems into small pieces. Arrange mushrooms in a pan. Add 1 onion and 1lb chopped meat to the stems. Spice with Oregano and a bit of salt. Stuff mushrooms with meat mixture and bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until meat is cooked and mushrooms are slightly juicy. Do not reheat.

I like the video because it is real life. Not an edited version that makes the rest of us feel inadequate. Thanks.

I watched five minutes of this video and realized that even more important than your cooking is your grace under pressure and your ability to include multiple activities going on at the same time while you're trying to publish the video. Of course I will watch to the end, but I wanted you to know that you have accomplished even more than you set out to do. B'hatzlacha! Continued success.

Aside from the fact that the food looks delicious and reminds me so much of my grandmother's cooking, I LOVE that you have a real kitchen! There is stuff on your counters and it is obviously used. I have a lot in my kitchen (trying pare it down and be more organized). It is another thing I picked up from my grandmother. She had a huge kitchen. I always called it the "double kitchen" when I was a kid because she literally had 2 of everything. She used to say "Never a greater blessing than a full and busy kitchen". Thank you for the time you spend sharing so much with us!

WoWFunnyVideos I’m a first generation American, my family is Jamaican so basically Christian even though I do didn’t feel fully part of the religion and felt off and out of place with it growing up. Now I feel better and as if I’ve found where I’ve always meant to be “like finding my way back home”.

+•Murray• •HeleneJ• : Thanks for your reply! As a person reared in a Christian home, how do you reconcile passages like... Messiah to be the seed of the Woman : Genesis 3:15 and Galatians 4:4? Messiah to be the seed of Abraham: Genesis 12:3; 18:18, Luke 3:23,34 Matthew 1:1-2, Acts 3:25 and Galatians 3:16? Messiah to be of the tribe of Judah: Genesis 49:10, Luke 3:33 andMatthew 1:1-2? Homage and tribute paid to Messiah by great kings: Psalm 72:10-11 and Matthew 2:1-11? Messiah to be a priest like Melchizedek: Psalm 110:4 and Hebrews 5:5-6? Messiah to be at the right hand of God: Psalm 110:1, Matthew 26:64 and Hebrews 1:3? Messiah as the right arm of God: Isaiah 59:16, Isaiah 53:1 andJohn 12:38? Messiah as intercessor: Isaiah 59:16, Hebrews 9:15 Twofold mission of the Messiah: Isaiah 61:1-1, Luke 4:16-21 Messiah will perform miracles: Isaiah 35:5-6, John 11:47 and Matthew 11:3-6? Messiah is called “The Lord”: Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Acts 2:36? The time of Messiah’s coming prophesied: Daniel 9:24-26, Galatians 4:4 and Ephesians 1:10? Bethlehem to be the place of Messiah’s birth: Micah 5:2, Matthew 2:1, Luke 2:4-6? Messiah will enter the Temple with authority: Malachi 3:1 and Matthew 21:12? Messiah to be forsaken by his disciples: Zechariah 13:7 andMatthew 26:31, 56? The coming of the Holy Spirit in the days of the Messiah: Joel 2:28-29 andActs 2:16-18? Opposition of the nations; Messiah’s final victory over death: Psalm 2:2, Isaiah 25:8, Revelation 19:19, 1 Corinthians 15:54 and Revelation 7:17; 21:4? The glorious Messiah; Messiah as King: Isaiah 63:1, Psalm 2:6-9, Revelation 19:11-16 and Revelation 19:15-16? Submission of all nations to Messiah’s rule: Isaiah 2:4, Micah 4:1-4 and Revelation 12:5? The Gentiles shall seek the Messiah of Israel: Isaiah 11:10 and Romans 11:25 Additionally, Isaiah 53 as a whole? I'm just curious, because being raised in a home with a particular religious persuasion doesn't mean you're actually part of that faith. You say you never really felt "home" until you adopted Judaism. What about Judaism appeals to you? Have you ever looked into Messianic Judaism? Just curious. Most people who've actually had a relationship with Yeshua HaMashiac don't walk away from Him for _anything._ Mostly because they've experienced the Ruach Elohim and have known HaShem personally. *_One for Israel_* changed my life (and many others). Maybe you should check out their RU-vid channel and let me know what you think. :)

*WoWFunnyVideos:* You need to research the origins of Christianity. It is a false, man-made religion created by Paul and the Romans. Therefore, anything that comes from the "New Testament" is NOT scripture that was given by God. The Christian "Old Testament" is the bastardized version of the Hebrew scriptures (Torah), that Christianity has twisted, mistranslated and taken out of context to make it appear as though "Jesus" is the Messiah - he ISN'T, never was and never will be! Please do the research and find out the truth about Christianity.

+Janis Hart : lol Umm... I hold a doctorate in theology. I specialize in the Abrahamic religions. I don't know what gave you the impression I am uneducated in Theological studies, but you're mistaken. Suffice it to say, you have demonstrated a nescience in Christianity with the stereotype laden reply you posted above. Maybe you should do some quantitative research and try again. smh.

I loved your video! I grew up in a big family that had a restaurant. I can remember helping my Mom out in the kitchen both at home and in the restaurant. Families are so busy that they don't cook at home or eat together anymore. It is so wonderful to see a family that cooks together and eats together! I am so glad that you are sharing your traditions with us. Our special meal of the week was Sunday dinner after church usually at 12:00-1:00 PM. Although my Mom was crazy busy, we always had a great meal together on Sunday. My Mom was like you in that she took traditional recipes and reworked them to take less time and to be healthier. I used to call her 'Econo Mom' because she could get things done as efficiently and economically as possible so she was able to spend more time with her family. I can see that you are an 'Econo Mom' too! I can't wait to try your recipes and see more of your videos!

What a great video. Thank you so much for sharing! Here is my salmon recipe: Using the same salmon cut, I place the fish on a sheet of foil and liberally coat on olive oil. (I create a tin foil baking pouch with the most dense foil available (or two layers of standard foil).) I season with garlic, dill, s&p on both sides. Then I arrange sliced fresh lemons atop the fillet and seal the foil pouch. This is then baked in the oven, sealed at 350 for approx. 20 minutes. While that is being prepared I work on other meal items. The end result of the cooked salmon is one that is tremendously moist, flavorful and wonderfully aromatic. Btw - I love your tiled back splash! Random, I know! Shabbat Shalom! New sub.

Rivka, thank you for inviting me into your home and especially into your kitchen as you prepare your Shabbos supper" (that is what we call our evening meal in Louisiana, LOL). I am new to Shabbos and I am so amazed at all the food that your prepare for one meal. It is so helpful to see you prepare unfamiliar dishes; you make it look so easy. Also, Rivka, your spontaneity and your way of being yourself makes me feel as though we are good friends. I too, like the comment mentioned below, would like to see the finished dish if at all possible. Would it be possible for you to video your family's Shabbos meal (if not too intrusive)? and/or do a video explaining how to clean up and serve the Shabbos morning meal and the Shabbos "lunch" without breaking Shabbos. Thank you for giving so much of yourself! Paula

you are very sweet and it was fun to watch but not everyone has a bunch of helpers. I am the most efficient kitchen worker I know but my easiest shabbat prep still takes 3 hours, as I do every last thing myself. sometimes it takes me an hour just to peel, chop and prepare all the vegetables I will be using. I also clean as i go, because if I leave mess everywhere there is no one but me to clean it up and I will be to exhausted.

This is FANTASTIC!! I don't know when I have enjoyed a cooking lesson more, I just wish I had a written recipe for it all. I am now starting the potato pancakes so this might give you an idea of my very limited skills..haha! I never had the chance to see my families Jewish side, they were from the old country at the worst of times and never really got over it so seeing this gives me some insight as to what my Bubbe must have gone through..you are wonderful !!!

What makes you and your videos so beautiful is you being so natural and honest on camera. I feel as though I am in your kitchen, alongside your children, waiting for your request on peeling carrots or tilting the camera. ..... G-d bless you and your family from England.

+ Dahlia Cohen I hope you & your community are okay; every time I visit England I feel more and more conspicuous and uncomfortable. Not that it's always so safe here in NYC, but at least in my neighborhood (UWS of Manhattan) I never feel like I stick out even when I'm walking alone or with my family.

Accidentally happened upon your cooking video after watching "Soon by You." This is GREAT! I thoroughly enjoyed your video, Rivka Malka, because it was natural, off-the-cuff and you actually had some really easy recipes (I just turned 70, and after my husband passed away a year and a half ago, I have to learn how to cook: HE was the chef in the family...) I especially love your salmon recipe--I've been afraid to cook fish! My DH a"h used to make shakshuka but it seemed more complicated than yours--I only do EASY! Even the stuffed mushrooms seem logical and simple, but sound so good. How many mushrooms for 2 lbs. of chopped meat (ground beef)? Would you say, 1 lb., or more? Keep doing these cooking videos; you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

Yum!!! Everything looks delicious! I never thought of adding sweet potatoes to chicken soup. Got to give it a try. When I make shakshouka, I add chopped green peppers (we call them frying peppers here in Spain, but they taste kind of like bell peppers) to the onions, tomato sauce, cumin and garlic.
