It works!He changed LP156W4HTLP1 with LP156WFCTLB1 FHD! I put the same on the same laptop but the stock screen was the LTN156AT17 HD! Just enter once into the bios and then reboot without changing anything!

I like this robust Dell hardware and just changed the display of my old E5530 FH - that lost the contrast over the years - by a full HD display type: LA-B156HW01. It must have a 40 PIN LVDS connector, then the original cable does work. During first start Windows did not find the new display immediately, but after opening the Bios, closing without saving and restarting Windows everything works perfect! The mate version of the replacement display is a bit glossy compared to the original, but with great colors, contrast and brightness!

To avoid any issues make sure there the battery is disconnected before unplugging the display

just wanted to add some insight, I have a e5520 with a lvds cable that has a date from 2012 model 57XNX but it only has the 1366x768 screen so at some point they did just start using the 1 cable with all 40 pins. I cant even find a part number for this model other than 57XNX so they may have always used it.

i have the dell latitude e5530 with broken screen and used the screen from e5520 for it but the blacklight not working and when i return the broken screen to e5530 no blackligt too Even though it both working with another laptop whats happen is motherboard gone ?

old one is >> 720 is eDP (1 Lane) , Connector , 30 pins And how did u replace 1080p without replacing to 1080 is eDP (2 Lanes) , 30 pins , Connector???

LOL that was a fucking trip clicking on this then hearing BoC, way to go. a Dell rep told me that to make this swap I would have to buy a new LVDS cable and change that out, but in this video you didn't? I take it that's not actually needed then?
