Hey bud. Thanks for showing an actual disassembly, and not pre-disassembling it like so many other videos do. Your video shows exactly how difficult it is to remove the front bezel. It doesn't magically just come off like other videos would have you believe.

Thank you so much @Brue Computing. It gave me the confidence to take off my fully functional 720p matte screen to swap for 1080p matte. The viewing angles are noticeably better. For anyone watching don’t be scared to remove the blue spacer I thought it was the connector it just has some glue on it but I needed it to put on the new screen after reattaching screen cable. Thanks again!

Are there any variations in pin connector from screen to circuit board? I'm ready to buy a screen, but I want to make sure it's the right one... any suggestions?

I want to use an e5440 with an external vga monitor, and be able to leave off the internal monitor completely. I tried this with a n4110 and it would not boot without the monitor. Would you know if the e5440 will work without the internal monitor? Thanks.

i have the dell latitude e5530 with broken screen and used the screen from e5520 for it but the blacklight not working and when i return the broken screen to e5530 no blackligt too Even though it both working with another laptop whats happen is motherboard gone ?
