I am a student from india . I purchased laptop 💻 with my only only Inspiron 14😢 5425. I was using chroma while adapter charging was on , there some notifications comes to update and I did it. The screen got black and lights are working on keyboard. I called Dell customers they say said motherboard not working for corrupted. 3amber 4 white light bopping 😭 I am student and I don't have any money to give to them to fix it. They send update things and destroy my motherboard of laptop. I put all my trust in Dell but they stabbed me 😭 I can't afford motherboard price now. Someone help plz
I tested this out on an old Zotac mini pc I have that is running a Intel i5-3470T processor. This is a 3rd generation processor. Was able to upgrade and run Windows 11 home like a charm.

Cheers pal, used this vid to replace a 3.5 HDD with a 2.5 SSD. Had to push the new hard drive in quite firmly to get the screws to line up. Is that right? However, would never have got the right adapter without your vid. 👍
I would strongly recommend it - it removes the risk of connecting or disconnecting something while there is power to the component and damaging them. This is arguably more of a factor for the RAM than the SSD.
The system's showing me an hard disk not installed error for the same model, can someone please help me If i buy an new ssd, should i reinstall everything that i had in my old ssd?
Many thanks for this video. I managed to replace the SSD as demonstrated. However, it won't boot and I get an error message that says "Default Boot Device Missing". Is there a way of copying the boot info to another part of the storage that isn't being replaced?

I've been looking for good videos on removing the screen on a specific model of Lenovo. This isn't the one I was looking for - but it is SO refreshing to see a tech video where the details are narrated. can i add additional SSD drive and have two hard drives in my laptop? I want to have a second SSD drive just like we can have multiple drives in a desktop machine. Also I am wondering why do we have to disconnect battery in order to add an additional SSD drive? Can I not leave that intact? Thanks.
