It doesn’t sound harsh. I’m an adoptive mom. I was never planning on adopting, but life turned out differently. My husband and I made the decision (along with our therapist) that we will not try to have biological kids, ever. Our babies have been through too much, and were adopted at ages 3&4. They need to have us to themselves in order to feel safe, whole, and loved. My daughter went through an intense period of insecurity when she was 5. We worked with a therapist to make sure she knew that even though she didn’t grow in me, she carries my love with her always. Did I dream of going through a pregnancy, setting up a nursery, being there for every milestone with a baby one day? Yes. But the minute we took on the decision to grow our family in the way we did, my dreams and ambitions mattered less than theirs. I’m their mom, I have to put them first. Every adoptive parent should be mindful and considerate of their children’s needs. It’s not harsh to say that.

She makes me feel uncomfortable. She sounds fake. Her mannerisms and the way she carries herself.. ts just weird. It’s not confidence, it’s like.. “I’m better than you” more than feeling good and showing it off.

Why is she handling that poor baby like its some damn doll?!? The way she throws her into her lap when talking about how much S has grown. It looked like she was handling one of those soft body dolls.

Every time Josh wears that hat I imagine someone watching the channel for the first time and being completely confused. That is one of my favorite jokes ever 😂

This is so weird! They just adopted a baby that they’re “sooo happy” about and she’s out here making fake pregnancy pics? Weird! It’s almost like the novelty has worn off and she’s on to the next “shiny” thing!🙄

I was wondering if you'd do a segment on these two. I try not to judge people but these two are the most exploitive parents. This child will never know anything but being in front of a camera. Shameful and disgusting. Mom makes it all about herself using the baby as a prop.

Like I’m genuinely worried about the woman. It can be hard if someone wants to be a “bio” parent as much as she does, only for it to fail. If you NEED to have your OWN baby.. don’t adopt. That child will never grow up to your expectations if you want a biological child even if you said that it would be good enough. It just won’t be, and that’s unfair for the child you’re taking in, by choice. Kid have no choice.

My hubby cleaned the inside of a toilet bowl and considered that as cleaning the bathroom 😂😂😂😂😂. Not any other part of the toilet just the inside. We’ve been together for 25 yrs and this is the second time he “cleaned” the bathroom. 😂😂😂😂 He was so proud that I just gave it to him.

Children will always prefer their primary caregivers over others. It is only natural that Story went to her dad.

Why would the baby go to her when she sees the way she treated that dog? Dogs and babies are the best judges of character.

My kids will pick dad over me everytime for bed time. I am primarily care giver to our kids so he picks up on bed time when he is home from working on the road. It makes me happy seeing how much they love him.

“It would be cute to have our babies close in age” sounds exactly like another way to say “we have babies for content”

Adopting a baby is an amazing gift, one that should be protected at all costs (bio kids too, of course). Stop exploiting these precious gifts!!

There is some severe mental health issues escalating. When adopting it should b mandatory to have evaluations and classes. There should b monthly visits for a yr as well. Since she documents it all that should b used as well.

She’s so cringy. That poor baby has only been viewed as an “accessory” by her. I could see her becoming jealous of the baby girl and treating her awful because of the bond between him and the little girl.

I used to be a fan of them and watch and support them and did feel bad for them that they were having infertility issues but that quickly changed once they adopted/bought a baby. It is CRAZY how this baby has become her whole personality and she never fails to go one day talking about how obsessed she is with her daughter and EXPLOITING her

You should check out her vlog when they took her to Disney. They treated her like a toddler. There were times when she looked overwhelmed and over stimulated. Or when they took her to a NBA basketball game with all the loud screaming and noise.

I think dallin was throwing shade to bella about bettering themselves to be the best mom/dad. He was hoping she would say something along the same lines but she didnt!

She needs to see a therapist that specialises in bonding. Hands down she has not bonded with that baby the way she thought she would and she’s shocked by it. She was expecting to feel immense love the moment she saw her and instead felt nothing. I can tell by her body language and what she says that she feels like she is babysitting someone else’s child. It’s not her fault …it’s completely normal ..it can happen even with a biological child. She’s trying to hide the lack of attachment thinking it makes her a bad mom but it doesn’t. She just really needs to admit it and get some help. This is why she’s still dreaming and fixating on having her own bio baby …she’s thinking if she gave birth to the baby she would feel that bond instantly. I feel bad for her …but also …why didn’t she do her homework on bonding before the adoption? She thought it was going to be all roses and she’d love the baby straight away. Her dream has not turned out the way she thought and she needs some attachment counselling before having another baby otherwise yes…if she doesn’t attach and bond she is going to love her second baby more and the first one will be the scapegoat for everything. She needs to recognise the issues going on here and do the work to bond properly.

I’m a grade 1 teacher and the amount of kids in my class who have the worst parents I’ve ever seen is alarming 😭😭😭 one of my kiddos has had lice for over a month!!! How is that not abuse?!?

Growing up, mum didn’t work. She would do the laundry. Once a week she would lay the folded laundry on her bed and as soon as we came home from school, we’d put it away. She had it separated on her bed by person and by like shirts for the person and underwear and socks in a little pile

I have a load of laundry that’s been sitting in the dryer since Sunday. 😭 I’ll fluff it up and fold it at some point. Haha. I have 3 kids so the laundry is insane.

So, they are going to drag that poor baby all over the planet while they continue to pursue having their ‘real’ baby. Talk about a major ‘first pancake’ scenario.

I'm exactly like you in regards to the laundry! I generally put the laundry in the washing machine and dryer but literally hate doing the folding and putting away😂😂😂 my partner does all the folding and putting away (plus he said he's better at folding washing than me in our first year of our relationship 😂 so he put his foot in it and does 98% of the folding and putting away ever since). AND he cleaned out our washing machine and dryer last week, so we're 100% clean here.

Letting dryer lint build up like that is not only a fire hazard, its also a carbon monoxide hazard. Our laundry room is upstairs by the kids rooms. I bought a carbon monoxide detetor and plugged it in right outside the laundry room door for peace of mind. I also have a fire extinguisher humg up outside the laundry room door as well.

My house is like that too. Myself and my 2nd oldest child live together with her two children (3&6 yrs old) and I do the dishes, laundry, take out garbage and recycling each week. My daughter does the cooking, the floors, vacuuming!!! And we share the cleaning. The laundry.. My laundry always gets folded and put away but my child doesn't always. Sometimes I do it for them but my grandson most of his clothes are in a basket and my daughters but most of the babies (3 yr old) is put away in her dresser. I have slight ocd lol so yeah!!!

Omg. I do AT LEAST a minimum of 2 full arse loads of laundry per day. We’re only 3 people and I’m working from home! My husband will change outfits (without realizing it) everytime he walks into the bedroom. Walks in the bedroom and grabs a hat, then another, then different shirt, then shorts to pants, then pants to shorts etc 😂 the laundry is forever folded in baskets here. It drives me nuts!

Sadly, the child they adopted is already second in their lives. They tried having a biological child and that didn’t work out, so they went to plan B and that didn’t work and so they settle with adoption. Saying you prayed for this child is just gross. She was never fully wanted and it shows

I put away & fold once a week. All other days we all have our own laundry baskets that are for clean clothes only which is where we put it & we dig 🤷‍♀️

Someone lost their life last night in a house fire. It was just around the road from me. Breaks my heart . My biggest fear is a house fire, so I try to be smart with anything that could cause one.

It’s sad that adoption seems that it isn’t fulfilling to them. She won’t be happy unless she conceives and that’s unfortunate for their adopted daughter.

How senseless and meaningless their video was really only hit me when Josh ended the video by questioning what they said their goals really were for 2024: traveling a lot, cleaning the laundry room, and maybe trying for baby #2. If any other non-influencer couple were to also have no real jobs and a baby and have the same goals these two do for 2024, they would be judged and criticized harshly. Dallin and Bella’s “job” is just to keep showing S on camera. To hundreds of thousands of random strangers. That’s how they earn their living (not even gonna include the MLM here - that’s another scam). That’s gross.

My husband washes/dries the clothes. I fold and call everyone to come get their shit. 😅

I agree with you about the laundry. The machines do the majority of the work. I hang and fold the clothes, towels, etc. the second the stuff comes out of the dryer because I HATE ironing.
