I think Mark Cuban really became a man of his word and did what he could to help. I remember seeing the story about him on the streets and Mark Cuban found out and got him help, rehab, and something to do with his mom (don't quote me on that, I don't recall exactly what it was he did), but he did reach out and there was a picture of them two together again and he was looking better. I even remember it not being a publicity stunt, but on some real man of his word type thing. No matter what, I'm glad this man is doing better and it goes to show that we all have love for one another and that there is always a way back from dark places if you're willing to ask for help and put in the work. I'm glad Delonte is well and I wish him all the happiness in the world.

Wishing peace to your heart. My son is an alcoholic and his life has gone down the drain. I too see this and hope that my son gets it together. He loves the game of basketball and was once a great player. Addiction is real, hard, and scary.

If it gets to the point where you have to give your son money and he's not repaying it I'd say the best thing you could do is let him fall flat on his face lose everything because other than that you just prolonging the inevitable and once he hits about 43 is going to be at the point of no return.

He’s codependent with the mother of his child. Even being a new hasn’t changed him. He’s now homeless in another state and has racked up several domestic charges😔. Alcoholism runs on my side and his dad’s side of the family. This is why I Preached no alcohol and have my children the reason behind it. At times I think he’s going to die from the drink or someone’s hands from his behavior.

My advice is just to pray about it, focus on his child's mother and your grandchild, try to break that generational curse even if it means inviting HER and your grandbaby to come stay with you(not your son). Worst comes to worst if she relapsed or becomes a danger to herself your name will be on all the paperwork for your grandchild.
