it reminds me of a good dhaba in one state which served mutton dishes, it became very popular as large number of customers started visiting this place. one day some government officials from food industry descended with their family members. after enjoying good food they wanted their bills to be waived off, but the owner expressed his inability to do so. net result rule books were flashed about how the dhaba is not following government guidelines. within no time bulldozers razed the dhaba. coming to the present the poor dhaba man is back to begging and the govt officers with their wives and children must be enjoying free meal in some restaurant without guilt

It is actually a good Stock .. only negative is govt regulations...If regulations r relaxed, then I will buy ..it is in my radar from few months

Tax structure in India is super complicated. Tax liabilities in retrospect is unjustified in any situation and Indian govt has done this many times. Need to be reasonable and not treat all business people negatively. It is very difficult to conduct business in India. People and Govt need to understand this.

Afaik , it also includes the backfilled penalties which would have ballooned up the price similar to gameskraft.

i work before in delta corp nd after resignation they deduct my sallery around 18k nd now they got penalty notice of 16000cr from goverment i think modi had taken revenge from my side 😂😂😂😂

Sir, you are correct but those who have demanded may be well knowledged people, if they are wrong they should be pulled by firms to court.

When you get a tax Penalty is something like 200% or more…hence the amount is way more than the company’s market share

I am working as Superintendent in Central GST Department. I totally agree with Vivek Bhai that that tax demanded can't be in multiples of a company's revenue collection.. But I want to add that demand raised under Section 74 means that the GST department is of the view that there has been wilful evasion of tax by the company and suppression of facts and it attracts penalty equal to tax amount. Moreover the govt can demand tax only within 5 years of the business activity. Once 5 years are lapsed govt can do nothing and no tax can be demanded for the said period. Hence the demand is from July 2017 (beginning of GST) till Mar 2022.

Usually gst send the notice of unambiguous amount .. my friend got a notice of 2.6 lakhs and settlement done at 22k..
