I absolutely love Demon Hunter and their wide ranging style and abilities. This is a very slow and melodic song, but executed so well, and it really connects and hits so well. Another testament to their amazing range, abilities, and their message. This song seems to be another reflection of our (mankind’s) sinful nature. It is inescapable. That we are saved by God’s incredible grace, mercy, and love; but we always find a way to backslide back to sin, darkness, and shame. This is a reflection on that struggle and guilt. I love how they always remind me of who I am at my core, and my ONLY hope is Jesus Christ. Belief, faith, and love for Him alone cleanses, restores, and saves us. Thank you Father God for such incredible love that you would send your own Son, perfect in every way, to be sacrificed and killed for our redemption. We are truly beyond unworthy.
