I am insanely in love with the high end and even rare squirrel brushes as well as all quality goat. Unapologetically, I am addicted; however, with my senior age I no longer go crazy like in my youth. Loved hearing other brush lover opinions. Entertaining, always. 😎❤️

Great video! Have you tried the Rae Morris vegan grey squirrel brushes? They are an excellent, really well made brush on Beautylish that mimicks squirrel hair pretty closely. They are expensive but I love them. They also have a magnet for hanging for drying or storage on a metal frame. Very very well designed but not inexpensive

Hi Jen, I have sensitive skin, very reactive and prone to breakouts to some skincare ingredients (sometimes in minutes) and because of that I tend to wash more often my face brushes. I have Surratt and Sonia G face brushes. For this very reason I have a fear that my brushes with natural hair will not last very long time. Now I consider to buy few face brushes with synthetic hair because are more resilient if I wash them frequently. I am thinking to buy Rae Morris face brushes (they are very soft) but they are very expensive and I couldn’t find any review. Sofia Sees Beauty just told me that she will buy a few, so I’m waiting for her review. :) Back to natural hair brushes, I prefer for powder Sonia G Buffer Pro and Smooth Buffer (this one for blush as well) and for blush I like Surratt Cheek Brush and Sculpting Brush. I have the Rae Morris brushes along with dozens of other Japanese natural hair sets and the Rae Morris mimics grey squirrel perfectly. Plus the magnetic drying / storage system is so cool. But they aren’t inexpensive.
@@Isobeln Thank you for your opinion. I know they are expensive (I said this in my first message). My question was if they worth it. All youtubers receive BK beauty brushes for free and when they recommend synthetic brushes they only refer to this brand. Well, I just watched a video where Jennifer recommended Koyudo face brushes holiday limited edition that cost over $500 (Australian dollars) each brush and I think is mostly for display on your vanity if you want to keep it in a good condition. 🤣 So Rae Morris brushes look like a bargain.😁 And if you add that you really can use them frequently without any trouble is even a better investment. Anyway is good to see an opinion about Rae Morris brushes. 🙂 I’ll wait for Sofia Sees Beauty opinion as well and then I’ll buy 3-4 face brushes plus the magnetic storage.

I have many rephr but I just heard Lexi say that they are not 100% Saikoho. They seem to be a mix of different goat hairs (depending also on the brush). Anyhow I’m very happy with all of them specially the eye brushes. I have the complete Sonia G. Fusion for liquids and I’m also very happy. I would love to give a try to the silver fox ones 😉 but I think the squirrel ones would not survive me 🤣.
I use my undyed goat hair brushes for creams and liquids all the time. I spray brush cleaner and clean with microfiber towel between washes. They hold up very well and I prefer how they apply cream and liquid foundation, bronzer or eyeshadows. They do tend to absorb more product though.
