This feature length action movie shows me turning denim (and some other things) into sunglasses. This is a repost from a couple of months ago. I thought the movie was worth posting again, in case you missed it the first time.
I make the sunglasses in my workshop in Cornwall, England. It takes me 2 weeks to make a small batch of them and I’ve been working on my designs and my process for over 10 years.

Having worked with hand laying carbon fibre twill and vacuum infusion myself, I have I find Watching your process thoroughly satisfying 😎 I love the tooling jigs. Did you make all of those too? Have you tried other fabrics? For instance carbon fibre? Or some nice plaid flannel 😎 Or some detailed sublimation printed polyester.

The problem is your product sucks since you can’t make them all perfect in mass quantities; the brass hinges and anything else with hand polishing will have user error.

Man I totally understand that these glasses take you a long time to do but bro you are absolutely high if you think that 90% of these people are 99% of these people are going to pay $300 for frames only that is absolutely insane dude I can get a pair of Nikes or Adidas with my prescription in it for less than $250 I also understand that you know you're worth I think you came out with a version that was $100 to $150 I think you won't be able to keep them in stock
