Just watched John Brzenk's video recalling his experience with Richard and he said Richard had a freakish tricep press that was near impossible to get out of. That's pretty clear in this video 😵
When Devon Larratt beat Lupkes, Lupkes said "I never felt anything like that before." When Devon faced Cyplenkov, Cyplenkov stonewalled him with a blank expression as Devon clearly put his all into it (as usual). Here, Cyplenkov shakes his head in disbelief at how strong oldman Lupkes seems, EVEN THOUGH he easily beat the guy who easily beat Richard. The technique and dynamics of arm wrestling are incredible. You never truly know who will defeat who.
He beat Devon on LEFT after Devon had surgery not even half a year before. Denis never faced prime Devon around 10/11 and also didn’t want to face on right.

Lupkes is stronger, but he is 54, therefore he doesnt have the stamina of the younger cyplenkov. but its easy to see that Richard has more torque right from the start.
No Cyplenkov was stronger and had the lifts and world record to prove it. Lupkes was definitely one of the all time strongest arm wrestlers in history and makes this victory even more impressive. Two giants 💪🏻💪🏻
I believe it's about styles honestly. Richard Lupkes has very limited technique, and against someone like Devon Larratt that is a master of the technical parts of armwrestling, Richard simply couldn't access his strength. In terms of pure strength Richard was always far ahead of Devon Larratt. Denis Cyplenkov is like a mix of great technique and great strength.
@@haagenneldeberg6787 Arm wrestling is like boxing, style makes fights. Just because A beats B, and B beat C, A doesn't necessarily beat C. Lupkes said that he never felt anything close to when he matched with Andre and yet Brzenc went 6-0 against Andre.
If Richard was younger then there is no way that devon or denis could have ever defeat him he is 64 now but still got so much of strength imagine if was younger he could have destroyed devon

It's only one piece of the puzzle. John made a 30 year career defeating guys a lot bigger with far bigger muscle mass. I'll tell you what, let's see how Denis is doing when he reaches his mid 50's.

На деле же здесь очень много стратегии, отдать старт, утомить, почувствовать сильные и слабые стороны, особенно при первой схватке. Но оба спортсмена в данном ролики достойны уважения! @MrJohnpuller basically he kinda is. he has (acromegaly) its a dissorder that some people get as childern and it makes them the size of the bigshow. but if people get it later in life.like dennis. their bones get thicker and their joints get thicker. and it affects the metabolizm. making him more prone to thicker muscle. basically hes a (mini golith).
This same year Devon absolutely smoked Lupkes in Arms Wars in Vegas I do believe. And if Cyplenkov struggled this hard against Lupkes…Devon would have decidedly beat Cyplenkov.
