I have been cross stitching for close to 10 years and I just found out about needle minders from etsy. I just bought some cute Halloween buttons to make some of my own. Thanks so much for the tips!

Thank you for the introduction on the supplies of making needleminders. Can't wait for your future videos on how to make them especially with pictures and resins. I gravitate toward 🌹's and vintage. ❤️Paris theme too.

I love the blingy needle minders because they are so colorful and make me smile. The only ones I haven't tried yet are the clay minders. Love the joke today and the bloopers. I'm looking forward to watching your next video on needle minders and how to put them together, hoping you show the resin process as well.

I'm quite new to the world of needle minders so this was a fantastic intro! I really like the blingy ones ;) of course! But I do like the ones with sassy sayings, they are great to have a giggle at whilst stitching. Wooden tiles are beautiful as well. I'm excited to see the rest of the videos in this series! :)

Interesting video - I didn't know there were so many kinds. We didn't use them when I started stitching 30+ years ago. I like the wooden tile version and things like Christmas themes. flowers, etc.

I have been thinking about making some from old jewelry and pins. Looking forward to your upcoming tutorials and how to's! I like the blingy ones and the bottle cap ones, also curious about the wooden tiles. I have 1 minder (a freebie from a grime guard purchase), so I really NEED to get more. Like your back button idea, mine doesn't have that.

Another great video, Cherise!! I quit Cross Stitching around 2002 and picked it back up around 2012, I can't believe how much had changed in 10 years. Your video was very informative and amusing as always. I love the bling needle minders, also anything Harry Potter themed!! I've already picked a couple I want to buy from your shop!! I love the backings you have on your needle minders. I PREFER FLAT MINDERS OR THE FLATTENED BOTTLE CAP TYPE. TO ME THEY HOLD THE EDGE BETTER. I THINK THE OTHERS ARE PRETTY BUT I HAVE HAD MY NEEDLES FALL OFF.

Need to get one of your rhinestone foxes tho, they're truly beautiful!! I love anything really, anything that catches my eye and matches a project I'm working on. Groan--I smell carrots. And I think your "assistant" is very glamorous! Hehe. I like the small square tile minders or the bottle caps because they are more practical in my humble opinion. I usually don't buy the sassy sayings, but I have a variety. I like the Gorjuss girl designs and of course I like the eye candy fellows from tv shows-- Jaime from outlander, Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, Ragnar Lothbrock from Vikings, the Tenth Doctor from Dr Who, Hook from Once upon a Time, etc I don't have any with the fancy back magnets, mine are all plain magnets so the are hard to remove sometimes! Love your video!

I like most of the needleminders, but not really a fan of Disney, Fantasy, or TV shows. Lol. I'm old and not much into the pop culture scene. Classic scenery, flowers, domestic animals, filigree, etc., mostly. Not afraid of bling one bit though. Most of my needleminders are ones that I have made, so they are more use than decor. Would love some pretty ones! Happy Christmas and Best Stitches!!! :)

Denkai first...thanks for your video....very informative, love your needleminders. can you share a link and/or more info on the magnets you use. my searches have so many different magnets and strengths that I am confused on which ones to order. I have a few old pins from my grandmother that I would love to make into minders. I have found the other magnets at my local Joann store but they do make marks on fabric so I returned them. any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
@Denkai
@Denkai 7 лет назад
Hi, look for 12mm x 2mm circle neodymium magnets. the strength you should use will be 42 or 52. I personally wouldn't go lower than 42. have a look on ebay, im sure you will fine some who deliver to your area.

??? what size magnets do u use???? example 10mm x 1mm 15mm x 2mm ect thank you
@Denkai
@Denkai 6 лет назад
Hi, it depends on the size and shape of the needleminder, sometimes a big one needs two separate magnets. If you're using weaker magnets you need bigger ones as well - I use the strongest ones available so the magnet is minimised. Usually I use 12mm by 3mm at N51 strength.
@puffyjo
@puffyjo 6 лет назад
Denkai ok thank you so much, because believe it or not . I actually searched the question before I asked you, can't find the info anywhere. I ordered 10mmx2mm not sure the strength, but I'm sure it'll be fine , it's only for me anyways

Don't like the really big ones, i like using multiple needleminders on my projects so small is nice :) Look forward to see you make some, i like how the back magnet is set in resin so it's flush with the design.
