I have been planning to do that one for about 6 months. I've collected up so many bits of spare jewellery its unreal hopefully I will get time during Christmas hols.

I didn't realize how much work goes into the bottle cap needle minders. Very cool to see how it's all done. I made some needle minders recently for the first time with just some cabochons I bought thinking oh yeah this is easy I can do this. The strength of the magnets surprised me and the first go round I ended up going to close and magnets and cabochons went flying as all the magnets stuck themselves together😂

I have asked around a good bit about neater cross stitching and you have been so helpful in taking me to the next level of the craft. The bottle caps are my favorite because it is a form of recycling. They are also easier to get for free;). Some restaurants sale alcohol and have an actual bar. The bartender opens the bottles into a small cup that must get emptied that is where we come in lol. Happy crafting!!! O btw, I just learned about the needleminder trend and I love the idea. Hearts are my favorites.

Great video as always!! If one day I finally decided to make my own needleminders I'd be sure to take a look at your tutorials again. You explain the process so well that it looks really easy, but I think I'd make a big mess with the resin... Bottle cap needleminders are my favourite but the blingy ones are cute as well.

Denkai do you have any favorite facebook groups? I would consider myself a beginner as I haven't done it in years. only have made two christmas stockings in the past and haven't done anything since. would like to do an all over design but haven't found a pattern yet. do you have favorite sites that you find your patterns? can you tell me what a haed is? thanks

Stitch Maynia on facebook is a lovely group of people I would start there. If you watch my guide to crossstitch terminology you might find it helpful. a HAED refers to Heaven and Earth design. They do full coverage charts, but be warned they are massive lol but worth the effort when complete. If you are just starting or getting back into it, I would suggest you buy a kit of a chart you like. Saves a lot of the fuss having to buy everything separately. I usually buy mine from etsy Mary. Do a search for digital images and you can choose those you like.

Wow! I never realized there was so much involved into making needle minders! I do have a question though. To print out those little pictures, do you use a laser printer (as opposed to an inkjet printer) so that when you spread the glue over them the ink on the paper doesn't bleed? Or can you use an inkjet printer?

Hi, Denkai ( didn't want to misspell your name). Great video. I've never tried to make bedazzled ones. The one with the heart and key is super cute! (all others were very nice-looking too). How do you clean out the syringes you use or do you use a new one each time? :-)

I use a new one each time. if you are using it for resin you cant reuse, but with glue as long as you get as much out and leave the sections to dry separately its easy enough to peel off and reuse.
