@@cedricfeacher5993 I believe she was referring to the interviewer as the bully. The sign of Taurus does not indicate a bully: you got to look at the whole chart. Rodman is also a Taurus moon: and the moon is in exaltation in Taurus.
An interviewer said "Why you are doing this? " This basketball thing, this whole game is so easy. Outside this game life is so hard. You need to let loose. I always give my best when I'm inside the court. You gotta love Dennis
Rodman was being very open and honest and wearing his heart on his sleeve and this interviewer was trying to punish him and bullying him into a reaction
Rodman you are my favourite player my idol you are a legend. You wear the best bad boy in the pistons history. You were the greatest rebounder you sir deserve more respect this stupid reporter didnt knew who he had in front of him he didnt knew that he had a BEAST in front of him.Rodman you inspire me every day i play basketball because of you.RODMAN YOU WERE YOU ARE AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A TRUE LEGEND
The crazy shit is that he did all these crazy things on the court but what people didn’t know was that he was actually a gentle and cool guy. He is probably out of all the group of ego’s were the kids line up to ask for autographs and then Dennis is the first one without hesitation to do the autograph and probably take pictures.
Jane- Rodman should've won Finals MVP in 1996. They weren't gonna give it to him because it was Jordan's 1st Finals since his "retirement". They had to kiss Jordans ass
@@dadthe2211 Nonsense, history shows us that exactly the opposite happened. With these escapades, he became even more famous, was in the media more often and was able to increase his market value.
Oh my god poor guy.... I feel so sorry for him, people are not understanding him at all! I just wanna hug him right now. This interviewer is mean as hell.
The interviewer was keeping it real. If any other player did what Dennis Rodman was doing they wouldn't even be in the league. He literally headbutted a ref, took a vacation in the middle of the season to vegas, kicked someone.
I need some context for this interview. When was this interview conducted/aired? During 1997 or 1998 Finals? Also, if it was during ‘98 finals, keep in mind Dennis BALLED OUT in Game 4 following his no-show practice and wrestling appearance during the off day after Game 3.
I still dont understand this perception of athletes being role models. We admire them for their talents. What they do outside the court is nobodies goddamn business. What matters is when they play the game. And Rodzilla gave 100% and nothing less when he's on the court.
Jim Gray could have done without that last bit. Come on, man. I didn't mind him bringing up concrete examples to refute Rodman. But after that he went a step too forward.
If turning the the other cheek was a person frfr... When he got up I already knew what it was and he didn't wanna mke that mistake we all wanted to do to that reporter
🤔 Some times in some cases we don't know what is going on with people in their lives to make them act out in certain behaviors, or what genetically or chemically what drives these behaviors and where they derive from. You just never know !!!
Here’s another example of Jim being the aggressive bully, this time with Pete Rose. He goes in for the attack and won’t let up. Even in this situation he denies any wrongdoing. He has no ability to be self-aware or reflect on what he’s doing with a more objective view of himself. People like that project their aggression onto the world around them. www.nbcsports.com/video/jim-gray-discusses-pete-rose-interview-after-mlb-return
Dennis Rodman was the only guy that made defense payable. In the NBA, guys weren’t getting paid to play defense. That was something that if a player either knew how to play defense or not. Guys we’re getting paid because if their athletic offensive skills but Rodman played defense sooo well and well as rebound it became an endorsement especially for the Bulls.
Let's rewind to how this came all together before we start jumping the gun on Jim Gray. 1. During the days off between games 3 and 4, Rodman spent some time messing around in Vegas, and in the aftermath of Game 4 is when he unleashed the offensive Mormon comments. When he stated "It's difficult to get in sync because of all the fuckin Mormons out here. And you can quote me on that." That drew a $50,000 fine by the NBA which was deserved. 2. Dennis was still bothered by the knee injury which limited most of his effectiveness in rebounding and defense against the Utah front line and led the Playoffs in technical fouls and two ejections. In my opinion, I didn't have much of a problem with Gray's handling of the interview because he was just stating facts of Rodman's conduct during the season and Playoffs, which included the Cameraman incident in Minneapolis (which I was in attendance). Rodman was correct in stating that for years the league allowed players to play physical basketball, engage in fights, and confront idiotic fans that had no business in challenging athletes. Look back at all the fights during the 70's and 80's, most of the players rarely got ejected for defending themselves. What Rodman didn't get was the league was becoming more modernized in terms of style and play, and they had to take a stand against fighting (almost to the point where the game has become soft). As for Gray, he is the type of interviewer who likes to pick on touchy subjects to get a reaction, and it did come back to hurt him during the Pete Rose interview in the 1999 World Series.
Dennis should have NEVER done that interview. He was already emotionally compromised. You could see it in his body language. Jim Gray sat still and looked him straight on while Rodman was slanted off to the right looking back at Gray from an angle.
@@beautifullion69 That's a great point. I wear sunglasses a lot when I'm emotionally vulnerable. As much as I wasn't crazy about his post Pistons personna, I get him.
@@OliveOyl12590 I heard jason hehir (director of the last dance) say that he thinks all that tats and piercing is just armor and that there's a much softer guy inside. He also mentioned that he had a lot of stories about what a gentle person dennis was but that didn't make it on the air.
All Dennis want is why all the things he do are all big deal and people can't appreciate him and thinks he is a fool? Even Jordan said Dennis is one of the smartest player he had played with.
Yeah that’s some bs on the reporter. He just wanted to be understood in a world where nobody was wanting to understand him. Media wanted to paint him that way and they did.
I hate journalists so much it's unreal. It's fine to be neutral and cold while interviewing somebody, but then there's this guy just being straight disrespectful to somebody that's visibly suffering.
Look, walking away is the strongest thing you can do... all this was is trying to get a man locked up for being himself... why anyone would just sit down with this guy and have a conversation is not necessary. No way to even talk to people like this... I just don't understand, aside from contractual obligation(s), why anyone would talk to someone like this?... Plus, who is Rodman trying to validate himself concerning?
the difference between Alleen Iverson and Dennis Rodman is AI is a straight REBEL while Dennis Rodman The Worm is a Mercenary. You pay the right price, he do the job exceptionally.
I'm not a Pete Rose fan....not one bit. But Jim Gray embarrassing him live on national television turned me right off. And here he is ...at it again.......
he inspired all the fans, and the commentator gave no respect. Look at the MLB, with the astros. they made a mockery of the game and never cared about the fans. dennis cared. the interviewer sucked so bad.
Why do I feel like after this interview Dennis started wearing sunglasses everywhere, cuz eyes say a lot about you, and you become vulnerable especially at such moments when you’re on tv. I really feel bad for Dennis, interviewer definitely used this as an opportunity to attack him, what a jerk
