@@eddyvideostar it's like they try to keep the conversation rolling continuously as to hope he doesn't get a word in. Lol! They're like...awe, shit, he's starting to mumble over here...he's about to say some shit!
Would argue that is all the more reason to trust him here.....he likely had thousands of different reasons he was trying to articulate into one sentence there
Honestly Speaking lol@ I still don't know what Dennis was trying to say.... Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Notice how the North Korean camera guy panned in when he started saying “One Day, One Day!!” and pointing as a threatening gesture to America or some sht.. 🤣
He said I don't give a rats A## what you think take a look at these guys all around the world Paul George is MVP all around the world drop top Cameros.
It’s even funnier he’s like “do you know what Kenneth Bae did” “do YOU know what he DID” and it turns out his big crime was bringing a bible or some pages with holy scriptures into north korea lmfaooooo seriously look it up
@@MetalizedButt He went to NK, that was his mistake. Don't ever go there. Seriously, why TF would you ever go there? Especially to preach in a _communist_ country where religion is barely tolerated if at all
I love how the dumbass Trump supporters had to search for at year old clip to look for validation to their warped perspective, in the form of Dennis Rodman. LMAO
Really? To me, it looks more like they are fearing for their lives. That interviewer from CNN keeps asking questions that could prevent the basketball players from returning home.
I would’ve completely lost it, in there. I remember when I first saw this on Dennis’s documentary, before I met him the next year I was dying of laughter from this interview.
codmaster2014 the only thug in the equation was CNN and Chris Cuomo. You think that since Cuomo is being "articulate" that that somehow supercedes his pushing and prodding on a issue with is counter to the reason these guys are over there. Get a clue twit.
codmaster2014 Nothing more than a bunch of ignorant, overpaid spoiled brats. And that's precisely why I dislike sports. I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said that 'sports played with the ball are violent in nature, and do not impart character on the person' VERY true.
Yeah. Chris Cuomo and his brother Andrew Cuomo are a disgrace to their father Mario. Mario Cuomo was a honest man and a Great Governor. They aren't anything like their father. They both are two half a pieces of shit
the reporter was a complete asshole. What did he expect they were going to say politically? They're sitting there in North Korea and he's safely in the US. I found it terrible that he was attempting to put them in a situation where they could potentially be persecuted for saying the wrong thing politically. Yes, Kenneth Bey should be released, but to bait them and put them in danger while they're in Pyongyang like that is irresponsible on his part.
Let's not forget that every single individual on that screen was sitting there cause they want to be there. Nobody is forcing them to... so asking them to speak on behalf of Kenneth Bey isn't an asshole move, it is the correct question to the alarming situation of a US citizen. There is no rational reason for going there unless you want to document that hell-hole. And let's be honest the dumbass Dennis Rodman just wanted the attention. He was claiming how hard it will be for them to live in the US after this "scandalous" act they were "forced" into. Sharing culture my ass. Thank god they were released, no thanks to the all-star team.
Same on also like they said - they're not there to do that, they're there to play basketball. If the cnn reporter disagrees then he can try to go and get him out. Jesus.
Want me to show you a link of Chris AKA fredo cursing somebody out? Something is wrong with that guy! Guy just called Chris a name. Rodman repeatedly told Chris that they're not here to answer political questions and Chris still baited Rodman to try to push him over the edge. So Rodman got upset saying Hey fredo you trying to get me and my 10 boys killed in North Korea talking about politics while we are in North Korea. Rodmen should have broke Fredo's his neck. Why you would support a punk like that and not understand Rodman's anger is astonishing to me. Charles added that they had 50 people with them. It not just the 10 black guys which Chris made so clear he doesn't care about when he was baiting them into a discussion about politics. Soon after Chris wishes them safe trip home. Literally admitting he was trying to out them in danger. Lol, Rodman was like do you know what Bae did??? Rodman is saying to Chris you are trying to get us to do the same thing. Chris is evil. Chris is Ethier so stupid or just right out evil. Now watch the video again knowing what I explained to you. Rodman could not speak outright because they were still in North Korea, therefore, he got upset. Rodman was like Chris, are you really trying to get us killed? So he flipped out
Blaming Dennis is ridiculous. He took the Harlem globetrotters with him. It was a big group that went to reach out to these oppressed people and put some light in their lives. What do they expect him to do? He's a basketball player. Not a navy seal or some kind of superhero. He did so many interviews about this that actually brought him to tears. Yes he.can be.a.jerk sometimes but not in this situation. It's common sense. There isn't actual journalism anymore. It's dumbed to being a Jerry Springer show. A good deed never goes unpunished.
Rodman is right...he gets it...he knows the power of western culture in the world...the key word is CULTURE. Trying to get this point across was frustrating Rodman cuz Cuomo doesn't listen.
Bill West yup. As a Canadian I can tell you growing up the best tv/music/movies/sports & so on came out of the United States and we knew this. Now there is a civil culture war going on but the right is finally winning.
cmbsoldja black folk never owned the movie studios, record labels, rarely produced there own stuff or similar & had no distribution networks. Jewish elites and others controlled these things and around 200? Black folk were cast aside and mainstream America took over the culture. Now companies like Disney and similar have made hip hop corny and mainstream and modern hip hop artists are not all black and the ones that are, are weird as fuck. The black folk are lost and are losing the culture war. Get your shit together because the right is on the rise :) normal is coming back again but the right owns it now.
miceypoo rogers you are either naive bias or ignorant to think this. Italians brought culture to new York and the United States. Germans brought science and with it came technology. Irish brought work ethic and a million other things. Spanish brought a shit load of culture. Blacks also did, but to say only they do is naive. One argument people love to make is black people invented/created blues music, but guess who invented the instruments they used like the saxophone ? Ya, I thought so... don't be ignorant, culture in America is like a soup and black people are just one ingredient.
miceypoo rogers Italian food alone is a major contribution to culture. Italians occupied there part of Toronto for a long time and eventually moved up to Woodbridge. Brampton and Markham are hubs for 2 types of Asians in the same way and after 2-3 generations they will also disperse out imo.
I think Dennis was trying to say you are endangering all these men by bringing this stuff up. He wanted to keep the discussion on Basketball and the goodwill cultural exchange not politics. CNN should have respectful of that knowing where they were and what they were doing.
E. I think you go it wrong, I think he is absolutely right. They are sitting there with nooses around their necks if they say one wrong word. I'm making no comment on whether their presense there is right or wrong, but in that moment I think he was doing exactly that.
CNN only cares about the narrative....they proved it again recently when they used the school shooting in Parkland, Fl. as leverage for political agenda. That self named "CNN town hall" was billed as a way for the kids to voice their concerns and opinions...instead CNN wrote the questions in line with the lefts agenda and used the victims to read them on national TV. Absolutely disgusting....CNN is the scum news network...case closed.
I'm sorry . .but This is STILL FUNNY three years later! Sorry Dennis. . . .The look at the other basketball players expressions. . . .PRICELESS! the "what did we got ourselves into" face :-)
They opened the door a little bit and now Trump is gonna do his best to bust it down. We are all one people in this world. Thank you Rodman and thank you guys.
I think these guys helped to plant the seeds that led to the recent breakthrough in relations between the US and North Korea. Dennis could see the future. Chris Cuomo obviously could not.
Jerry Burns Haha😆😆😆😆😆 America is more closer to Fascist Italy, Nazi Germany and Apartheid South Africa. Plus the Democrats are not Socialist. Idk where y’all keep getting this bs from.
@@allengreene9954 Haha! We had a black President for two terms and you think this country is like Apartheid South Africa? Half of our biggest celebrities and most successful people are people of color. If a guy is failing in his life in this country, it's all about his lack of ability, his poor work ethic, and his bad personality. It's not because of his race.
There is no big picture. It was an all around stupid trip and they got nothing done. They kept saying 'its not about the politics' but when you go and support a dictatorial regime, its automatically about politics.
This interview gets me fired up for reasons I can’t explain. Rodman shows you, with passion, what it means to risk your life and your peace of mind to do something meaningful, through basketball, in a place that Americans could hardly understand. Rodman has literally outdone foreign policymakers in opening the door to Kim Jung Un.
Exactly. And it’s classic cnn, interrupt people when they’re talking, ask aggressive questions to get views and attentions. I mean you wanna argue, debate or interview? Same as the interview with Putin last year, they don’t seem to care about the purpose of the questions, they just try to get a fire headline for their news and get more money. It’s fked up.
and one of the reasons they were nervous was because they were all still in north Korea! And Rodman doesn't make a lot of sense but when he first started talking about the guys being there... I really think thats what he was trying to say. They could not say anything negative about that country while they were still in it. That would be crazy. And I think maybe that is why they started getting nervous
What Rodman doesn't understand is that you can't just make it about basketball because to do so ignores the 100,000's of people that are held in concentration camps in N Korea, they are slowly tortured and starved to death. Whole families are sent there women are raped and if they fall pregnant their babies are murdered in a brutal fashion in front of their mothers the second they are born, entire families are executed and tortured to death in ways its hard to imagine. Google 'Yodok prison camp' to see just one of these camps. Befriending Kim is the same as befriending Hitler, Kim is a sociopath, he's not about to 'open doors' because Rodman played a basketball game
You say it like America Politicians isn't planning to have those same concentration camps right here!!! We are losing our rights, constitution is being ignored. Our politicians are no better, well I'll say they are better at hiding it.
getfitdit, what you don't understand is the constant threat these people are facing. If they step out of line even a little bit on this trip they're facing serious repercussions. As they said, it's unrealistic for us to expect anything they say to influence the decisions of the North Korean government. All that would be gained by making this political would be that they would likely be killed or imprisoned for challenging the rule. Also DrumJeter1985 you need to shut the fuck up and get a reality check if you think we're about to have concentration camps in the US
Tyrone Kujo Well obviously I do understand the dangers they face given that I explained the nature of Kim's brutal regime in my comment. I don't know if you read my message but you have completely missed the point and your message is redundant and pointless, we know they could "face serious repercussions" and we know they could be "killed or imprisoned" if they challenged Kim's rule. so? do you have anything new or relevant to say? This is already political to a degree in that Rodman has said that he wants to open doors with N Korea. He has described Kim as a "nice guy" (He keeps 100,000's of people in concentration camps and murders anyone that disagrees with him) Rodman is clearly deluded and refuses to acknowledge the barbarity and cruelty of Kim's regime, Kim is a modern day Hitler and Rodman is attempted to sell him as a "nice guy" that is simply misunderstood. Rodman is deluded in this respect, Kim only understands force and the threat of war when dealing with the international community and extreme violence and cruelty when dealing with his own people. He is a sociopath who believes he must maintain absolute control of his people at all times, his means of maintaining this control are among the cruellest and most savage I have ever read about. For now he enjoys Rodman but he is not about to relinquish his absolute control, e.g. "open doors" because of a basketball match, asking why should Rodman not be interacting with Kim is like asking why people should not have went to visit Hitler during the second World War. I suggest you Google "Yodok Prison Camp" and educate yourself before you speak.
I don't see where I was unclear, these men are under attack in this interview for not making their trip political. They just want to play some basketball and not get killed. You said that they can't just make it about basketball, I'm saying when their lives are on the line they can make whatever decisions they want
Tyrone Kujo Can you really not understand what I said in my previous comments? No they can't just block out the politics of it because to do so is to fail to acknowledge that he is a mass murderer and torturer who has done despicable things to 100, 000's of people, why? because it is immoral and unconscionable to do so. When you interact with a mass murderer, call him a "nice guy" and make it just about basketball you fail to acknowledge his crimes, in doing so you compromise yourself both morally and ethically. "Make whatever decisions they want" No they can't, they choose to be there and they are aware of what is happening there, They have a moral and ethical duty to tell the truth about what is going on in N Korea, Rodman has not done this. Instead he has told the world that Kim is misunderstood, his friend, that he's a nice guy and when asked about the atrocities being committed there he has said that he does not know about them. Have you ever heard the saying "Evil prevails when good men do nothing" ? This is what Rodman is guilty of, his fame and voice on the world stage means that he has a duty to tell the truth but instead, through his silence, he has turned his back on the people of N Korea, decided that he is going to turn a blind eye to their suffering and just make it about the basketball, he could shine a spotlight on the atrocities but he chooses not to, this is a morally and ethically bankrupt action on Rodman's part. I've tried to explain these concepts a few different ways in the hope that you can grasp them?
Haha that made me think of the Booker T clip "Hulk Hogan, I'm coming for you Nigga!!" Hold up.. didn't Rodman wrestle with Hogan? Man I'm too lit. Have a good day..
Black Mag ...No, I don’t think they were trying NOT to laugh...boy are you wrong! They were embarrassed and this was very uncomfortable because Rodman was unhinged...completely unstable, he made no sense at all. Rodman is an idiot, a simpleton...fuc* BASKETBALL...that man is a murder and dictator...All of them are an embarrassment to us, blinded by money, fame and privileges that came with it...this was sickeningly embarrassing to watch at that time.
