@@christianbennett136if the internet existed (was popular) at the height of Rodmans fame from 95-2000 there would be nobody as big as Dennis Rodman. You just can't put it into words how famous and popular Dennis Rodman was. He was easily one of the most well known and most recognized people on earth
Funny thing is people used to laugh at his fashion sense, but all these sound cloud rappers and trappers today dress EXACTLY like him, from being heavily tatted, the hair, the metal choker, the nail polish, and everything. Dude was way ahead of his time.
What a fuckin humble guy. Letterman tries to talk up his skills as a contribution for their championship and this dude just says “no no no no it’s only cuz I was on the bulls that’s it” Just another reason out of a thousand to love this dude.
I like that Letterman respects Rodman enough to keep the interview professional. He could have easily made cheap jokes, but he kept it above belt ... I enjoyed this interview.
@Brian Andrew You're absolutely right but nowadays i don't know what happened professionalism, yet most importantly humanity that we're actually going backwards in life. All those slurs, animosity and racism SMFH .
I just dont think young people realize what a huge celebrity Dennis Rodman was in the 1990s, especially from 1994-1999. During the late 1990s Dennis Rodman was one of the most famous people in the world. His fame was like a superstar athlete, Rock star and movie star all mixed together into one. Shaq and Iverson were on like a podcast together recently and Shaq was saying tnat Rodman was more popular then Micheal Jordan in the late 90s.
One of the Biggest Basquetball Celebrities of all times, also the best deffensive player of all time. The Milenials dont know how big was Rodman for the show business and the sport.
Hey Don, I have this faint memory of Letterman complaining about a previous guest during NBC show. I feel like it was the day after he had Sean Penn on. Does that sound familiar? Was there a David Letterman / Sean Penn feud?
Geoff Nelson I dunno about that. :) There was some pushback from Sean. I’ll probably put it up, along with some background snippets. Thanks for the idea!
that was the great 60's 7O's BBC show " the Prisoner" concept. I hope they got paid for their concept being nicked. probably not since nobody in their right mind would pay to see van damm and rodman act and it could not have made money.. I sure as hell didn't waste my money going to watch van damm and rödman "act". please. i checked... it bombed. Rodman won 2 golden raspberry awards, one for worst supporting (not an) actor
