People say it's 3rd string defense but Lance still played very well with 3rd string offense. He just let it rip and that's really his strength.

Congratulations to Moody for a great comeback game after a shaky start. Ronald Bell is a keeper for sure. Amazing talent and potential in that kid!! Offensive line still looks like it’s struggling and that’s extremely frustrating for a Niner fan after last year. It’s a fun race for 2nd place quarterback between Darnold and Lance. Should be a fun season . Go Niners!!!

Russ moved very well tonight. I don't like that we lost (because I'm sure the media will use this game to continue the Russ hate) but it's preseason. Gotta give credit to the 9ers for that comeback. Let's go Broncos!!!!

So much good from this game! I wanted to start off on a more positive note than last week, especially considering I was going to say the exact same thing. Yes we lost at the very end for the bajillionth time (and for the second time in a row), but again it's preseason. Russell Wilson continues to look better! Wonderful seeing him move around the way he did. The players I looked for were Elijah Garcia and Jaleel McLaughlin. And they were absolutely amazing!!! Garcia continues to bring pressure and followed the football all the way to an interception. McLaughlin did it all with 2 touchdowns and that speedy kick return. I'm glad to see Javonte back on the field, and I hope Jalen Virgil can make a speedy recovery to the injury he suffered tonight. Improved O-Line and Kicking was something I loved to see! We can do without the 9 penalties though. Last but not least, Essang Bassey with back to back interception games, way to go brother! Next week will be the last week I write a paragraph, as we are so close to the Regular Season! Hopefully all units will be able to bring their best all the way to the very end next week. We'll be at home for a while boys, so enjoy it! Bring on the Rams! Go Broncos 🧡💙

I’ll admit, a guy that has written off Lance from last week, he looked pretty good at the end. Struggled at first, but got better and won that game for them. Next week will have to be the one where he has to prove he belongs on this team however. Only he can dictate his destiny from here on out.

This game was a good and close game for sure. Trey lance did a much better job tonight and Ronnie bell balled out too. This game was an improvement from that disastrous one last sunday. I know it's pre-season but I'm glad my niners won their first pre-season game tonight. Good game tonight niners and next Friday is against the Los Angeles Chargers. Go Niners!

Had my heart pumping like regular season! Great win, boys! A couple notes: Good lord I hope none of our back up O-line has to play this year... that was 2004 bad. Ronnie Bell is electric!! If he is able to cut down on the mistakes he is going to be what Danny Grey was supposed to be! I don't care if it was against 3rd stringers, I was so stoked for Trey! He made some clutch throws down the stretch... you can just tell that he's the kind of guy that gets better as the game goes on and he starts to get a better feel of what's happening around him. Give me Trey Lance's body with Brock Purdy's decision making/level of experience! Little concerned about our defensive depth, especially in the secondary. Fortunately I feel pretty confident that our defensive line is going to be such an unstoppable nightmare that the secondary will just have to be adequate for us to win. I don't know about any of yall, but I am already missing not worrying in the slightest whenever Robbie Gould would come onto the field. Every time Jake Moody had a FG I would be gritting my teeth in anticipation. Glad he had a nice bounce back, we DONT need another Roberto Aguyiao.

Its very evident this game from the broncos side was run focused. One drive for wilson with designed runs and the majority evaluating backs. I liked what i saw a lot. Great preseason game for both teams! Probably the best this year

Very glad to see Brock looking good and Trey played well. It’s looking like Trey just needs the reps….he’s definitely not a bust he just needs the experience. Hopefully he can be Brock’s backup for a while but I think Brock is the future…..he’s a phenom. I pray he never has a problem with his* arm again.

The big question for the niners is how good will that defense be without Demeco game planning and calling plays situationally. Also, teams had 9 games of film study on Purdy now. They are going to know more about his weaknesses and have had time to prepare for them this season. Considering he spent most of his offseason rehabbing and recovering. I doubt he was able to really able to improve his game significantly during this offseason. Will be interesting to watch when the season starts.

Nice to see purdy back in action. 9ers got 3 solid options at qb, great wr corps, tight ends are great, rb room is stellar and their defense and oline are excellent. They have a strong chance of winning it all this year I think

It was fun to watch Trey play against Ben Dinucci again. The last time they was the FCS National Championship in 2019
