Congrats on your ship date Crystal! I swore in Sep.19th 2017. I remember hoping my ship date would be Feb/ Mar 2018 but got a ship date of May 29th. At first I was a little disappointed because I didn't want to wait that long but I said I trust you God and and I know you know my future way better than I do and when I look back I'll be so glad that I probably left when I did versus when I wanted to. I've been in DEP for 7 months now and it has gone by so fast!!! I'm so glad I got a May ship date. Attending Training and Development Flight every month at the Airforce reserves base in Vienna,OH has prepare me so much better for BMT! We will be at BMT together. You'll probably be graduating the week before me. Why will we be in Texas the hottest months of the year!!!😂😳🌡🌞 Blessings to you in your journey. ❤🙏🕇🤗
My recruiter was saying the same thing so I went in open mind an was willing to take whatever Came open an I was one of the lucky ones I’m going in open aptitude which admin jobs are The harder ones to get in.. I swore into dep April 11 and I ship June 19th I’m so happy I didn’t have to wait a year or so like some ppl but great video btw new sub😊
ThatNoLabel Breezy , it's not our choice to wait a year or so.. It's just the security background check especially for some of us that are not yet citizen but green card holders..

Nice, I haven't reached a full year in yet. But I've never traveled past the east coast, never had a passport. Now, I'm stationed in Italy, and applied for a passport and is currently waiting while discovering all of Italy and Slovania(Open border). But Your tech school is super short, best of luck to you at Sheppard and take full advantage of every opportunity the Air Force has.

Congratulations sis.im a RDA and wanted a dental assistant job and he told me the same thing said it's more of what's in demand at the time and told me there really not looking for dental assistants at the time so I'm back and forth if I should look into the navy and I chose the air force mainly because of my daughter and there family orientated and me being a single mother that's perfect im so back and forth with this right now so praying that god points me in the right direction with everything cause just Alot going on and confused to a point I'm just like forget it but I know I have a little one looking up to me.
you can always become a DA once you get it , it may be harder that way but you never know what could happen switching everything to the Navy after you got everything done with the Air Force , that's just something to think about .
I don't know if you all have any airforce apps to prepare you for BMT for one that I downloaded I found vvery helpful was the USAF Delayed Entry Program App. it's really cool too ir keeps track of your count down of days to go. highly recommend it👍

Tytyana Parks look at ASVAB practice tests online, i suggest buying the kaplan 2018-2019 prep plus book, take a practice test at your recruiters, it’s basic stuff, don’t worry too much.
the less you stress the better, when I took it I had not taken a semester of school in 2 years. I just studied with RU-vid videos the night before and ended up getting a 79

I got an 44 on the PICAT and I’m going next week to go verify it. Is it true that a 44 is like working as a lunch lady or janitor? My cousin told me she also said the higher I score the more money I’ll make. Is that true too?8 thought it depended on the ranks. Should I retake the PICAT for a better score?
Betsy Santa cruz some jobs have bonuses for things like meeting meeting special requirements or being in a danger zone but for the most part I pay depends on rank- another thing idk if you already took the asvab but definitely try for better than 44 not that that's bad but better is always better lol
