Narcissistic?? I’ve never gotten that from him. In fact, I’ve appreciated how much gratitude he expresses in his interviews. He’s not always smooth, but he is humble. He would be welcome at my dinner table/backyard bbq/pool party any and every day.
Libby Rowan he actually went to live with the Ballas family at 12 and stayed in London for 10 years. Julianne came home after 5 years. They even had a little pop group together 2B1G. Derek even taught at the school he went to the Italia Conti Academy

Well---I like both Derek(mostly because of his choreography which is near genius!)and Hayley!(who I like a lot!!)----however, what I have seen with Derek is his obsession with himself on his instagram(over 95% pictures of just him or stories about just him instead of highlighting other people and events)and then his statement here about pumping the brakes about getting married really shows an insecure and immature person with a narcissistic personality!---that's a shame for Hayley!---she deserves a lot better than that!
You called Derek a "narcissist" and we're supposed to believe that you like him? Just because he isn't ready to get married yet, doesn't mean that he and Haley won't get married someday. She's only 23 years old, which is very young to be getting married, and Derek is 31. So they would be wise to wait and be sure before committing to marriage. Besides, they are both happy now, so you can stop feeling sorry for Haley.
I've had similar thoughts - in addition to pumping the brakes he said he wanted to make sure; after nearly 3 years together? Run Hayley Run, I'm not sure I would want to marry into a perfect family. But, his family has made some lovely thoughts about her.
Derek is actually 32--that is still a 9 year difference in ages---however, to me, Hayley(although quite a bit younger)is a lot more mature than he is!!(and not insecure and not a narcissist like he is!)
