The AFC got more crowded over the weekend when the Cleveland Browns acquired Pro Bowl QB Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans for a total of five draft picks. Watson has already agreed to a new extension as he joins a Cleveland team that just lost in the divisional round two years ago. Shannon perfectly plays the line of defending black athletes as well as holding them accountable. From the beginning you could tell Shannon wasn't really believing all the Deshaun stuff but still treated the situation carefully. Also always has the perfect defense whenever he feels skip or others are holding black athletes more accountable than other celebrities.

As much as I like the heated debates, I really enjoy segments like this where they agree - it really highlights the chemistry that they have together. They can be entertaining even without manufacturing debates and drama like certain.... other shows. This move definitely has put Cleveland on the map! They had everything in place for the last couple of years and Baker was clearly the weakest link. The Browns defense can now get better as the King of the 3 and outs is given his walking papers.

This is Cleveland. I would be surprised if he went to Cleveland and excelled. Cleveland is where careers go to die. Not a Mayfield or Pittsburgh fan but if ends up in Pittsburgh, watch out. Good organizations bring the best out of players. Pittsburgh has a good organization, Cleveland does not.

They structured the contract to be able to afford a good backup in case he was suspended and not just to avoid Watson from losing money. That was my initial thought. But it's mighty funny there has been no outrage all year while he was getting paid but as soon as a black man gets that kind of generational money the outrage erupts.
