I love the smaller form drones coming to the market to bypass RID. Big drones will be the thing of our past as more and more tiny speeders come to play in the near future.

Stu, I’ve been building and flying these 2s 2” quads for years. So much fun. Frames like the Odonata hd give you the benefit of a top mount battery. Just a heads up. Craftedkwads makes some great frames in this size, but sold out unfortunately. Great size and performance! Glad to hear these little guys reinvigorated your love of flight!

I love micros in fact I just purchased this drone a few days ago. I will say unless you have a beeper be prepared to spend a lot of time looking for it after you crash. Something that small that is built to fly outdoors can be VERY VERY VERY hard to find if you crash. Put a beeper or gps on it the extra weight will be worth it in the end.

Can't really afford digital , but i took a cheap darwin tiny ape and combined other parts to make a super fun 2s ripper , and its so quiet , done with 5 inch .. can't zip through tree branches etc with a 5 inch. lol hell i just left box goggles. didn't procrastinate long enough. got skyzone 04x and then WS came out and hd zero seems to be too much fuss , am running elrs . got new mkll and some goggles im good with that

The last drone I built was a TBS Disco Pro. This little guy has got me excited to build something again.

Great video, and 2S walksnail Quads are so much fun -- quiet -- and are reasonably priced. I have a Happymodel Bassline 2S Walksnail edition and it flies just like your ProjectUAV Quad , it's super quick and just follows the sticks just how FPV quad should I also have 2 Other Quads worth mentioning Happymodel Mobula8 2S Walksnail Edition, and it also flies super nice, and has an advantage as it has backbox, so it's possible to use Gyroflow, to produce super cool stabilized video, that I upscale to 4K BetaFPV Meteor85 2S Walksnail Edition -- it is also fast and flies without any faults. It great that we have a reviewer finally reviewing 2S quads and showing how great they are, they are half the price to what the other reviewers are reviewing, and double the fun.

Analog with onboard dvr like the Happymodel diamond vtx combined with a good flyer like one in video is pure gold. Add a RumCam Thumb on top and go beyond gold micro 😉

I have been on the sub 250 bandwagon for several years. I have several sub 250 6S quads and recently purchased one of these and am waiting for backorder to ship out.

I always though 2inches 2S was it, on analog at least. Bravo!

That's really cool :) Was looking at that X12 (Happymodel?) AIO for something similar. I can't see to find a 12A AIO with ELRS but without an Analog VTX as you're just paying a bit more for something you just disable :/

Can you find the best possible flying machine that can carry a GoPro? Ideally a full Hero 11, but naked or mini would be okay too.

Hey Stu, I followed this video and converted my Lighting1 to HD. I messed up and updated the firmware to 4.4.3 and forgot to save the settings. Now when I arm it shoots up in the air and crashes immediately. Would it be possible for you to provide me your Betaflight settings? I would really appreciate it.
