UAVfutures aims to bring people into the wonderful world of fpv and multicopters. Ranging from build and race videos, reviews and updates and some general goofin around. If you love things FPV related you are going to love this channel.
Stew, it's time to buy some HDZero googles man, then make them your daily driver for a bit. I'm not that I'm trying to change your mind, your right in your comments, I just feel you're not quite talking them up quite as much as they deserve. HDZero is racing, sure some are still on analogue, sure it is more expensive, but what you get is 100% worth it (in picture quality), and it's just as rock solid (for fixed latency, and hardware reliability to analogue)!
Not true. DJI is still compatible with all the old gear. Goggles 2 will run all current air units. Also you never mentioned anything about range and penetration for any system which for freestyle or long range pilots is crucial in making a purchasing decision. Proper long range you'd be on analogue. Best digital for range and penetration is by far DJI
I started flying analog for the first few years but bought myself a cheap set of dji V1 goggles when the V2 was announced. I built quads with the caddx vista units and pretty much stopped flying analog except for small stuff like whoops. If I was getting started today I would take a serious look at the caddx walksnail system, I’m not a fan of dji and caddx have always been more in touch with the FPV community.
I really hope DJI unlocks the Goggles 3 in a reasonable time frame. I'm having fun learning Acro on my Avata 2 for now. But I definitely want to either build or get a BNF down the line once I get better at flying without needing to buy new goggles.
I wish I saw this a while back, got back in the game and got WalkSnail. I wish I got HDO because tiny whoops are HEAVY with a WalkSnail and I can I could go analog in a whoop.
DJI : 2 O3 air units + goggles integra = $810 Hdzero: goggles + antennas + 2 kits = $1000 You need to buy 4 or more kits for hdzero to be less expensive than DJI.
DJI sucks as a company and price means little for a company who helped destroy the hobby for many people with their RID crap when they first started now we have RID shoved at everyone because of DJI and I will only mention their human rights violations. I would spend $1000 before spending one dime on DJI
I've been on the dji eco system since the begining. Be way too expensive to switch if i wanted to. I have the v1 goggles and the goggles 2. Waiting on the 04 AU to drop before i get the goggles 3. I'm hoping my goggles 2 will work with the 04 AU at some point lol.
Dji goggles V2 work with air unit, vista and O3. They fit well and dont fog up. Also the analog adapter is a great mod for both worlds. Dont forget the WTF mod. There is no better goggles for me. Habe mine since 2021 with the DJI FPV drone. Got me into the hobby. Now I have like over 50 self built quads with analog, vistas and O3. No need to upgrade. Dont forget DJI has the best signal penetration.
I love my HDO2s !! Keep an eye on their factory. Factory returned or rebuilt goggles for 1/3rd the price, no joke!! Had mine a few years now no troubles. Love the vid stu ❤
Yeah for $580 you can have goggles integra and an O3 air unit for less than the cost of Hdzero goggles for $600 and another $100 for antennas since they don’t come with any.
Please help me anyone coz my drone e88 is not flying ...... It's flying upto 3 inch height but again falling immediately i ordered two batteries and still it's not flying
The F1 didn't come out until 2012. People were flying FPV around on my multispawning highly modded FPS gunship server all the way back starting in 2008 up until 2014 when GameSpy login servers went offline. They called it FPV because it started on an FPS game server... that's why it's not called RC... because it did not start in the RC community. RC plane and helicopter guys call their hobby RC. We were in a totally different future... a dysutopian 2142 future... an Oblivion (the movie) future.
It was inevitable people would strap weapons onto them, because they started out with bombs, rockets, guided missles, and guns on them. In fact, I was the first to add bombs to them, because the stock game had no bombs off the air transports... they had flares... which I switched up and gerryrigged into bombs instead by modding the code. Whole lot of bounce, they were a blast. By 2015 when you got into it FPV quadcopters were already pretty well established, and drones certainly were. RC drones have been around since the 1950's... and NASA was strapping cameras on their payload rockets, lunar landers, and moon buggies back in the 1960's Apollo program.
People started k7ll7ng with FPV in Russia, the pandemic ended and YT audiences left and went back to work, and playing with AI superceeded it as way more interesting. Unless you're hitting tanks in Ukraine, FPV has gone the way of the hoola hoop. Plus, people copy your work and don't give you credit. Cough cough EdgeTX
That second guy, basically, stuff I was doing 2 years ago... When everybody was flying juicy and sbang, I was going my own way pioneering my own style on The Docks maps, dancing through objects. Not like I didn't spam my videos everywhere, spawning an ocean apparently of choppergirl copycats...
That's what I thought, I knew I've seen this type of flying before, without giving any credit, there's only one person that flys that way, he's totally ripping off your style. What a poser.
DJI V1 FPV goggles. Works the same today as it did when it came out years ago. And now depreciated, can be found used at a deep discount. Better long range picture than HDzero, and just as good for aerobatics nearby. I'll stick to the SIM though, picture quality is always 100% static free, range is endless, cost is next to nothing. Fly and crash all you want, credit card damage free....
Goggles X for me if I was starting fresh. Unfortunately I am in DJI V2s which aren't bad, but I wish I could fly smaller units without slapping on the analog acessories
DJI is the most popular… I think hdzero and walksnail users are just more vocal. DJI is the silent majority. DJI is at the cutting edge of image clarity and range and penetration. When they iterate its leaps. That’s why there’s incompatibility. Hdzero and walksnail don’t have to worry about that. DJI integra goggles at $350 are also the least expensive.
