The sad part is I still have no clue how old he is bc he talks about stuff like he is from a younger generation than me... I just can't tell... he says he's 20 and I'm like, "Yeah, that makes sense..." like an idiot.... ahahaha!
@@hollywoodisasataniccult4022 The thing is, Gryffindors are literally those type of people that would do stupid shit even if it hurts them physically. Their bravery is literally just them being stupid sometimes.
I love that you said this because every time he insulted her, I kept thinking about how he was criticizing his true love! I only wish he would have seen that when he was looking up the other voice actors.
Sad fact: you can actually unadopt children. They call it "disrupting" when you back out of the court process partway through and dissolving when you do it after the adoption has been legalized.
@@WangxianFF7 Disrupting or dissolving is cancelling an adoption yes, but it leads to the child being put back in the system. So it's a kind of returning.
Dylan’s look when Gru says they stole the Statue of Liberty and then his realization that it’s the Vegas one is absolutely hilarious Edit: Also how dare he insult Gru’s mom voiced by the QUEEN JULIE ANDREWS herself
I really like when he does the animated films. It just makes it so more fun to revisit the films from your childhood with Dylan totally bashing it and making it seem so stupid😂😂
Ok so similarities between dylan and agnes- • both understands the importance of child death in a movie • can make weird noises from cheeks • loves bedtime kids stories • trouble pronouncing difficult words
On a darker note, you can actually return children until they are 18 in the foster system. It happens a lot to kids who are neurodivergent (like kids with ADHD and Autism) or kids who struggle with mental health issues. Or they are adopted but removed from the home. Technically their adopted parents are still their parents until they are 18, but they remain separated once the family decides they are "not a good fit." I'm not a social worker, so I'm not 100% sure. But I have heard a lot of people talk about this as an issue often overlooked by the foster care system in the US.
That’s terrifying. I’m Italian and I don’t *think* we have and equivalent of that, I think you just adopt kids and that’s it? I could be wrong. But the foster system as you describe it sounds hellish, I can’t imagine doing that to a child. Everyone would be horrified if this were someone’s biological child that they’re trying to give away? It’s understood that you have to take care of your child even through difficult situations. I’m adopted and have had my fair share of mental health issues, I can’t imagine how traumatized I’d have been if my parents actually *gave me back* because of that?? I honestly don’t think that should be a thing. I think if you adopt a child that should be it, it shouldn’t be any different than just giving birth to one. You’re equally responsible for this child once you decide to keep it and raise it. You can’t just ‘try it out’ like it’s a pair of shoes and then give the child back if everything’s not perfect. That’s horrifying and surely extremely damaging for the child’s development??
Foster system is meant to serve as a system that allows parents to reunify with their children. The “system” takes care of the kids while their parents go through their prison sentence, therapy, rehab, or are deemed fit to care for their kids again for whatever reason. It’s not meant to keep kids forever because the parties that created it hoped parents would be responsible at some point in the child’s life from birth to independence at 18. It’s taken advantage of by horrible people who foster for the money that the system gives them to care for the child, which is why more good hearted people should join but yet don’t. Still, insanely sad that neurodivergent children have a hard time in the system. - Would love to both foster and adopt in the future.
@@net.say.i704 it just seems really confusing for the child, especially depending on the situation, to come to think of a certain family as their family and then to be ‘returned’ like a faulty appliance? You’d think a system that is put in place specifically to protect/take care of children would be better thought through and that they’d keep this sort of thing in mind, if nothing else run better background checks on the families to make sure they’re not taking advantage and are fully committed to raising a child and everything it might entail?
I could be wrong, again, but I *think* that in Italy in such a case the child would be cared for by social workers, in a casa famiglia (lit.: family house) with other children in the same situation, rather than temporarily being assigned ‘new parents’ and then passed around like a package that got lost in the mail. In other cases the child is just put up for adoption, I think.
Dylan introduction: A 20 years old A list college graduate who has a book FINISHED and AVAILABLE, he also is a style icon who never wears the same thing twice. loves LOVES children especially one specific CG baby.
I love how Dylan is hysterically laughing at the minions doing stupid childish things, that's the joy of minion movies, it's simplistic but it's weirdly funny 😂😂
i would pay money to have dylan read the entirety of alpha's temptation like an audiobook. or just read it and review it in a video for... research purposes. please make this happen. somehow, some way.
Every time I hear the lead up to audible, I both roll my eyes and simultaneously just say ‘of course…. Continue’. At this point, it’s not a matter of if but rather when
I agree in a way with this but not entirely true (Dylan's just more popular) also recommend hilarious + sometimes insightful movie & tv show reactors ZZavid, Billy Binges, MallVerse, Reel Rejects, BlindWave & TimotheeReacts
As someone who works at a cinema, I can safely say that the suit trend was horrific. Especially when asshole teenage boys brought bananas into the screens, threw them around, and then squished them into the carpets. Not a good time. That said, when I wasn't working, it was fucking hilarious.
There was a kid in my elementary school who could make the sound but I think he flicked his throat rather than his cheek? I still have no idea how to make the sound
So we're not going to talk about how hilarious that "romance" book synopsis was? I was in the office, i laughed so hard that I got reprimanded by my boss. Dylan you almost cost me my damn job.
I tend to hate those kinds of books but I would 100% listen to it if Dylan narrated it just like he narrated the synopsis. 😂I would laugh the entire time as if it were a comedy but I would enjoy it.
the amount of people who actually believe Dylan when he says he's 20 is astounding, lol. I've been watching him for years and this is so funny to me how people actually believe he's 20. I think teen tv shows are hurting peoples brains because now people expect 20 year olds to look older. Also the "college is a scam" thing is an inside joke we have on this channel for those who don't know, dylan went to a scam college or at least he jokes about going to a scam college cause it doesn't exist anymore.
11:10 what bothers me about this is that the V guy probably over heard gru’s plan and just decided to steal the shrink Ray after gru took it…like it might’ve been avoided if gru just got the shrink Ray first
Having watched most of your videos, I discovered you a year ago, I’m very curious. “What is the perfect film for Dylan?” Cuz I feel like that movie would have the best filmography, best dialogue, plenty of deaths, maybe a good romance, and just be chaotic.
I spent the last few days religiously rewatching all of dylans commentary while writing my last term paper and I send it in just a few hours ago so this upload felt like the ultimate reward
I’m glad Dylan isn’t ‘too cool’ for the minions. I’m also 32 (oof, actually my birthday was last weekend so 33 now) and I love every single one of these films. Proudly went to watch Minions on my own as a birthday treat last week and cackled the whole way through.
I saw the new minions on my 21st birthday and actually enjoyed it. The minions themselves were cool because they each had their own little personalities, and I had fun translating what they were saying (they speak a combo of English, Spanish, and gibberish). I still think the despicable me movies hold up as some of the best animated movies in recent years.
why r yall so thirsty. everytime i go to the comments all i see are middle aged women saying how good he looks. like calm down dont u have kids and shit.
im always gasping and acting like im shocked when dylan starts making the audible reference and then we look at each other like we both didnt knew it was coming …
DYLAN! To be clear, despicable me is not a “minions movie” 😤 it was meant to be a standalone film but the minions were so successful as side characters that they got spin-offs
