General Yous in d1 it was one of my favorite guns just because of how it felt and in crucible it was the only gun I could get any kills with plus ya know.....nostalgia

I agree brother. I hate PvP, reason why I chose Borderlands over Destiny any day because they don't force you to play PvP for a weapon. Destiny 2 is primarily a Loot and Shoot game, Crucible is just an extra step in my opinion that I don't like. I'll get my guns through puzzles and PvE instead of crucible.
A tip for the big sullied light quest: you can do all the pve ones in titan. When spawning in the rig, go to the lost sector in the lower area of the rig. You can keep farming that wanted ogre boss sector by killing it and all the adds for the larvae, stepping out for a bit and coming back in. You can do those steps while you wait for the witches ritual event to come up.
Well, today has been great for me. Started the day by finishing and getting jotunn, then I finished the last word mission and got it with one of the duplicates dropping an exotic engram that turned out to be the monte carlo. I'm over the moon right now.

For anyone getting back into the game, for the step of the quest that requires wanted bosses, hive precision kills, and heroic hive ritual completions, I highly suggest the lost sector Cargo Bay 3 on The Rig on Titan. Has plenty of hive to get larvae, the boss is a wanted target, and the hive ritual public event spawns there as well.
There wouldn't be an audible groan from everyone regarding PvP if Crucible was just more fun and balanced. The mode is a complete shitshow and needs a massive overhaul.
Im all for going to the extreme of banning pve weapons in crucible all together. Separate the load outs, make pvp centric weapons and armor specifically balanced for pvp. Leave Iron Banner for the cancer. Also, go back to beta super regen rates, I want supers to be rare and I want damage reduction while in super to be completely removed.
You know, you haven’t experienced true pain until you’ve tried to do the quick draw segment with non-optimal WiFi+ d2 server networking It’s literally impossible cause the delays for firing are random so sometimes you get the delay and can shoot the hand and sometimes you just get the “guess I’ll die” delay cause you go from waiting for the delay to dead without him ever raising his hand to fire I’m sad
Your PVP tips seem to be better than Kackis. KackisHD: "Just be aggressive and you'll have it in two to three games." Me, a player with 0.5 average: *dies repeatedly* / *has a streak bringing me up to 44%* / *dies repeatedly and progress goes back down to 1%*
To any shadowkeep and new light players, if you cant get the quest from drifter do the following, Complete 'Introduction to Gambit' and then talk to drifter afterwards and he should have The Draw quest.
There's a lot more recoil on console than there was in D1. I don't get why PC gets an amazing version of the gun but console gets ridiculous recoil especially while ADS. 😐
It's because pc doesn't have aim assist, in a perfect world mouse is more precise than controller, so controllers get aim assist, and PC gets less recoil. Trading off aim assist for less recoil, it works on paper but not quite in practice, coming from someone who has played both.
UpF1st FPS because you can’t have the same type of recoil on pc because of how a mouse works. Since you are complaining about this i will leave you with this: PC MASTER RACE

I finished it last night, took 45 attempts because it kept glitching out. And when it didn't glitch out I missed my shots. I played one game of competitive after that and then turned my Xbox off.
I have 22 deaths right now and I want to break my controller! I have killed the third guy twice but he keeps getting his shot off. I feel like I am about to punch the wall. If it wasn’t 1:30am in the morning I would scream at the top of my lungs!! Fuck me!!!
For those who are struggling on step 2: Go on mayhem Wait till your super charges then kill some one Retreat and wait till your super charges and then kill someone Rince and repeat.
I know I'm super late and I don't know if anyone has posted this in the comments yet but the enemy's you have to shoot for the last mission have a order. Remember which one spawns first and second and third. That's the order. Whichever enemy spawns first will shoot first
This HC is definitely worth it. It took me a whole day to obtain it but it was a well worth of my time. The tips and instructions in this video are very accurate, it is also probably the best video you could find out of the rest when you search up how to get the Last Word. It might be very frustrating when u reach the crucible part in this quest but obtaining this gun requires patience. I took a short break and went back to doing crucible for this quest and it was a good decision in my opinion. The Last Word is an incredible gun and when you're done with all of this, you would definitely like it.
The etched crystals took me longest. Crucible portions of quests are a dream for me. If anyone hasn’t finished these yet, the easiest way to get the revenge medals is to play SUPER recklessly in Crucible. You don’t get penalized for dying and the more you rush in and get killed, the more likely it is you’ll get a kill on the guy who killed you (D2 tends to revenge spawn. So it’s great).
It isn't. A reddit threat on tuesday falsely stated it was 2% per kill and a loss of 1% per death and for some reason literally nobody tested it even though it is very clearly not true. Anyone doing it can tell those numbers are not at all accurate and yet its being spread by so many people as hard fact.
Well, for me, it was 1% per kill and -1% per death, but super kills gave a ridiculous amount of percent, like 5% per super kill (kills with my super active)
I've been trying to get past the Temptation since the quest came out, I'm terrible at PvP but I buckled down and went at it, the step Sullied Light I believe took me a total of 10 hours of grinding due to me being terrible at PvP again... and the Draw took me about 3 hours with 50 deaths total (due to me having to leave after my first attempt and both times the battle leading up to the Draw taking me forever)... I'm so glad I've finally got it now, it works like a dream
If you cant find the quest make sure you have the forsaken dlc and finished the campaign. Once you go to drifter it should be on the second page so just hit right on the d-pad. You dont need shadowkeep
Bit odd putting a weapon we’ve already had in the series behind a paywall. Kinda thing the community would’ve been up in arms about not too long ago. Shame it’ll only be available for us pass holders, I would’ve liked to have seen it available for everyone. Edit: If it was a whole new weapon I wouldn’t bat an eyelash, it’s only because it’s both a returning weapon and a big fan favourite.

I can understand if people have dropped D2 cause they don't wanna buy the annual pass, it's only gonna be worth it once everything has came out and there are gonna be better stuff out there for 30$. I understand if people don't want to pay for something because they don't see the value in it, but if the problem is that there is more content that they have to buy and it's not free, they're being a big baby.
I died 31 times last night trying. I did kill all of them 3 times in total but it still killed me. Servers are too slow and the event timeline not in use. It's like doing PVP in 1 second lag. So for the second time in my life I rage quit a game in more than 30 years of gaming. (first time was during the malfeasance quest collecting the 400 motes.)
This seriously give me a headache when come to PVP 1) MY FPS actually dropped only on PVP 2) Deal with Sweaty striker main that love to shoulder bash with their shotgun equip 3) Auto rifle aimbots which actually rare to find 4) Teammates suddenly at their spawn or ahead of me while I was with them few second

It’s been weeks. Weeks on my own trying to get it I’m at one percent. One day I made it up to 20 percent out of pure luck but then a match of me being spawn superd and blade barraged. It’s been weeks and now I’m at one percent. Why? Why have I gained around with hundred kills I got ace of spades through it I try not to die I’m at one percent
It's inconsistent. I was at 59% killed someone and then died and was at 58% meaning I got +1% and then -2% but there have been times I get two kills and go up 5% and then two kills and only 2%

I am literally fucking horrible at pvp and I got the gun . My advice .... Do quickplay. Sit in the back and camp your ass off lol . Take your time man. I've come to the conclusion that the more people think of getting it the more they fuck up....does that make sense ? I went in and played quickplay and forgot about the quest and I got through the pvp part . Crazy . But good luck man I hope you get it .
do competitive since it is "skill" based, meaning everyone won't have the chaperone/colony and fuck you up with a click. People's weapons will be as good as yours since your K/D is reflective of what weapons you have
Last word quest tip In the quest “THE TEMTATION” If you want to play aggresive use Hard light For people who don’t know hard lights intrensic perk is “Volatile light” and it bounces bullets from the hard light off walls and the perk is “the fundamentals” just like the “Borealis”
For me drifter dosent have any quests. Pls help ok so my dumbass forgot 2 important thing 1. to get this quest you need the forsaken dlc 2. when you go to drifter you need to do some bounties to unlock his quests
I'm a hunter and I used blade barrage (panic super) and spectral blades. I personally got my badges and kills I needed in mayhem and I thought I it went by pretty easy. Maybe it's just me but, I did mayhem and loved it.
If anybody is trynna find the fastest way to do the Lost Sectors, the best thing I found was to go to the Lost Oasis on Io and do the Lost Sector you go to for the Whisper quest. You can use the shortcut used for the quest to get to the boss room, and with the right load out you can have the boss killed pretty quick. You can then fast travel back to the Oasis, and this method will net you a completion every minute or so if you’re quick.
still stuck at kills part after 20 or so matches... got to 10% then back to 2% then to 18% back to 0% then to 24% back to 1%... I guess the last word is not for me... (and yes i suck that much in pvp i guess)
this is exactly how my day has gone... i've literally wasted 6 hours going up then right back to 0 after running into a 6 pack of Luna, NF sweats that shouldn't be in my play category.
I feel your pain. A couple of days ago I was attempting to do this. I managed to get it up to 22% and then crashed all the way back down to 0%. I promptly abandoned the quest. I did pick it back up from the Drifter and eventually managed to complete. Try the gun, Malfeasance, if you have it (it's an exotic hand cannon from a Gambit quest). It really helped me beat the PvP part for The Last Word.
For anyone struggling in crucible we're in the same boat but a big tip go to comp this is especially helpful if you aren't high up there cause there won't be super sweaty people lol but play defensively but know when to get aggressive so you can get this done Good Luck and Good Hunting
Actually not that hard, i am absolute trash at the game, i got it in 2 days mind you i dont play destiny 2 24/7 so it was more like about 10 hours combined for me
@@oxygen8538 Have you ever considered the possibility that some people just like the way a weapon feels rather than how good it is in very specific game modes? The Last Word is just as good in PvE as it is in PvP, so I'm not sure why people even pretend that it is "only good in PvP" when it works just as well in PvE as any other hand cannon.
For anybody who wants to make it easier on themselves on the second to last step here’s what I did: Head to Titan, from there grind the Cargo Bay 3 lost sector to get the Wanted Enemy kills and the Hive Kills (Cargo Bay 3 is a hive lost sector with a wanted ogre). Then check periodically for the hive ritual public event, as the Cargo Bay 3 lost sector is right next to where it happens. I found that this strategy helped me, and I hope it helps you too
Saying the k/d part actually makes it sound easier lol as even tho i didn't think I was doing great, I have kept a positive k/d, & no i don't actually kill then hide lol. I usually just run at it. literally lol

It's a annual pass. Why would it be free. It's completely worth it anyways, 35$ for 3 dlcs. I don't know how you put hundreds of dollars into this game. The Base game + curse of Osiris + warming + forsaken is only 140$. Unless you decided to use micro transactions

I thought that every time I saw a new quest step pop up with the Hive relic as its image. Resembled the Malice’s semi-circular form at a distance, and made me sad inside. Alexa, get on it.
For Sullied Light, the lost sector on Mars, Core Terminus, is the best one to do. you can bang out the first and third parts together and if you're mindful of your map, there is the Hive Ritual PE in Glacial Drift that you can engage in too. should be able to get all three portions done in one sitting.
