Why do you keep making me want to build mono red decks... Props to that first opponent for staying in the game with 0 lands :D Purphoros letting you get around counter spells by putting creatures straight into play is perfect for the mono blue matchup, tasty stuff!
Thanks man, it was so amazingly fun. Its a weird deck in that 'feels' greater than the sum of its parts. You can also build this deck with A LOT of high cmc creatures and somehow get away with it!
I'm following your Channel for quite some time now and I absolutly love your style of deckbuilding ! Great video, I'm looking forward to the next one ! :)
I like this deck. Very attack/damage based 🙂 Game 1 - nice display there, good matchup it seemed! Game 2 - yea, bit of a spoil sport, but still a satisfying victory! 😆 Game 3 - Rats!! Game 4 - Yea, I mean, I'd have quit too. I see why you like those matchups 😂 Game 5 - Man, the relief I felt for you when you finally hit the guy with the Ferocidons, definitely Owen to you that victory!
Lethal at 7:36 if you had used purphoros to cast avatar and inferno. 114 damage or so between the marauders, ferocidon, and emancipation at 14:58 I think
from my own experience of playing niv mizzet parun, historic brawl is so full of protagonist-syndrome, inferiority complex incels shedding absolute monumental amounts of salt, that I really felt that Golos game.
Why are you so bothered when Jodah player conceded? He's in the right, if you lost there's no need to keep playing. I hate when opponents don't concede when they clearly lost the game, it wastes my time.
Because the pride of someone goldfishing against a helpless opponent makes me angry. They have all the time in the world to see you crumble to dust but the moment you come back in the game they suddenly have to immediately drop. Not the sportsmanship I stand for. When you play paper magic like I have for over 11 years, you never see this behaviour at a table. Everyone is polite and used to shake hands (pre covid) despite the outcome. Being a digital game, some people believe it's OK to treat people with much less respect and that bothers me.
