I have one of these rifles, I got decades ago for a buck. It was made in 1883, converted for the 6.5 Carcano, still have a full-length barrel with cleaning rod and bayonet lug, don't have the rear sight, don't have the AOI stamp on stock, just a serial number like other type of rifles did back then. Did see another one of these rifles that looked in extreme good condition, also a convert, but was made into a lamp for 200, I did not buy it!
