Yeah, I was stuck on having real flowers too and though I went with real flowers, I could have done half and half. And it would have been just as beautiful

I've seen some "from celibacy to intimacy" videos that were very tasteful, informative, and did not go into details. Sadly, there are some who are only being nosy, but Mary and Jerard have always been tasteful and I know they'll protect that part of their relationship. You saw the edits from the honeymoon dance video 😂.

You guys did awesome only spending 5K! We spent 9K on our wedding. I agree with your husband on the flowers. We spent 2K on flowers alone. I don't think $500 is an outrageous estimate.
That was my only decorations. 😂 We didn't have a planner and we did a lot of DYI. Still, I was very pleased in the end. It was a "garden" wedding so I was kind of extra about the flowers. In the video you guys didn't mention a lot of costly things like catering, photography, officiant cost, DJ, etc. We got our friends and family to do this. That's why we were able to cut cost to 9K.

I am a new subscriber and I have been married for 6 years (officially 6 years as of September 15, 2018) and we still act like newlyweds...LOL! We spent under $5000 for our wedding and our engagement was 4 months(engaged in May 2012 and married September 15, 2012) as we were together 5 years and 11 months by the time of our wedding. My bouquet was real roses as my wedding colors were black, white and red, but I used artificial silk rose petals and flowers just as you did for your wedding which kept the cost down. I also used alot of candles as I had an evening wedding and the lights were dimmed and we ate by candlelight. I am happy to see Jerard as I was waiting for another video of you together. Please do more videos together so we can see your beautiful, blessed marriage journey! The tip to a happy and blessed marriage is to keep GOD as the head and to have Jesus Christ as the center of your lives and always keeping your faith in Him! You are definitely starting off right as from what I can see you both have GOD the Father and Jesus Christ the Son in your lives!
This was very good and informative. I was married 10 years and would LOVE to be married again. We spent $3000 to include venue and food. I had only 50 guest, no kids were allowed because of price of food, but my son's half brothers were allowed to be there. I purchased my dress, off white, from Dillards girl for $80, daughters lil flower girl dress was $10 from dillards, i used silk flowers from hobby lobby and used the 40% off coupons, the guys wore black suits, white shirts and i purchased matching ties, my girls wore red dresses of thier choice, but i did have to approve them. I purchased moms dress from Dillards for like $30 and mother in law wore dress of her choice. I made the dillards 40% off sale price and after prom season. The food was also from St Anthony Hotel, a historical landmark in san antonio and they did the ceremony and reception in the same room. They moved those walls and set up so fast it was ccccrrrazy. We did our photos in the surrounding areas of the hotel and their lobby. Its a beautiful hotel. The colors, and it sounds ugly, but it was so pretty, red, peach n grey. I made my vail. Ex was active duty at the time so we did get hotel on a sliding scale fee. San Antonio is very military friendly and alot of places give us discounts. Oh, ex and i are bffs, so crazy and we ALWAYS run into eachother. Smh i wish he would relocate his gov job, lol. I enjoy you two so much. #BennettsBudget This was perfect you two. Wedding planner was charging me 3200, I told her we had a budget of 5000, then she encourage us to up the budget, we said 8 then it quickly went to 10, was just a mess.i thought a planner was suppose to encourage us to stay in budget. I know everything In CANADA is so expensive but dang.

My aunt is a wedding designer so we got married in my dad's hometown Macon, Ga and at his home church, since most of the family is there and near by. We definitely used fake flowers. This video is actually super helpful and relatable compared to most on RU-vid, blogs, etc. I'm doing the online dress thing (Cocomelody) and i think it will turn out well. I did get to do some in person try ons with Cocomelody to check the quality and it seemed just the same as the boutique dresse s (at least from an untrained eye). I do anticipate needing alterations, but I'm fine with that because i will be saving about $1000 overall!

I am definitely going to sell it. I chose a dress for my bridesmaids on rent the runway. They are all doing the badgley mishka dress in rose gold. A very inexpensive option and they can order two sizes just in case their regular size doesn't fit. their bouquets, I will be getting them from shope Rite. I got a quote for real flower for 24 bucks (crazy cheap compared to an actual florist). I am doing a combination of silk and real flowers. I have always wanted real flowers for my wedding, so it is a MUST for me lol. Side note: I went to a bridal shop where the veil was 1000 dollars and I was in shock.
