They cops were a little OTT weren’t they. I don’t blame you for retreating. It takes the bigger man to do that. They were looking for an excuse to arrest you, as you hadn’t been asked to leave that’s why you were ‘escorted’ away. I can assure you you had been asked and hadn’t gone they would have straight away. Stay safe.

I actually already knew about the powers they have I just momentarily forgot and when I remembered was when I stoped saying he couldn't detain me. I just didnt want to say so at the time as to give them a smile of you get me. And no way mate. Wish I had known. On another note. I lost my wallet bit I found it hahahah. I was flapping it.

@@geezerp1982 I believe you are correct, prison officer only have the power of a police constable while on duty at the prison as per the prison act 1952. I'm pretty sure a prison officer wouldn't get away with trying to arrest someone out in the street especially for a summery offence.

1:50 It is at this point that you should lead and whistle to them as if they were dogs and on a leash. They had a long walk to the end of the road and then have to walk all the way back to their car. Good exercise.

I could be wrong, but as I understand it, the police have no jurisdiction on crown property.

Grey area, there are formal agreements or memorandums of understanding giving reciprocal powers. It's a bit like in garrison towns the military police have civil powers and can arrest civilians when on patrol off base.

I grew up around here, camp hill to be precise and you are allowed to walk around there but strictly no filming, especially in the prison car parks. The council maintain it but the prison have jurisdiction over it and have every right to arrest and confront if they deem you suspicious and catch you filming especially without permission. I also wonder why faces and number plates haven’t been blurred.
