It blows my mind that people who know nothing about the constitution or law can be employed to defend the constitution and enforce laws. It truly makes no sense.
@@user-otzlixrhey stupid, nope you liar victim will be getting more money with every lawsuit just that the criminals will have to pay out of their pockets along with the city
Exactly. I have been reading up on their training. Apparently there isn’t a class on civil rights. Most of the training is in unarmed self defense, report writing, traffic stop procedures and crime scene investigations. I’m seeing a pattern here🫤
Fellow officers that assist officers like this need to be held accountable as well. They assisted in the violation, kidnapping, and restraint of a citizen illegally. It doesn’t change just because they weren’t the initiating officer. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse and neither is a badge.
Not only do the citizens pay for lawsuit settlements, taxes are taken from those settlements... The biggest slap in the face is the fact that those taxes taken ultimately fund the defense of the officers who violated the law that resulted in the lawsuit to begin with. This is why the system will never be changed, it's working exactly as it was intended.
There has got to be some loophole where cops like this can be personally sued. Where they pay for it their own attorney. And possibly pay from their pockets! It would probably require reading every case where cops were sued, and every law written involving cops. When they step step beyond their duty. They need to pay from their pockets! Without a doubt! 100%
Perhaps the law suit payouts should be included in their compensation and they should pay income taxes on it. The city is and the tax payers is paying it out in their name.
It went from one cop to 5 cops for one guy who knows his right and isn’t afraid to say he knows his rights. Remember- 150 thousand per yr per each cop. 65,000 per car, plus other equipment. Then 3.2 million for a helicopter, 10,000 per hr to operate it. Approx, 29,000 per motorcycle for cops.
I first started paying attention to the 1A community where AFA was out with Chuk Bronson, Indy News Now and many others. Josh has taught me so much. He has always continued to present educational experiences by many free Americans along with his own accounts of tyranny. *Josh, you will always be the f/f king!
Yooooo I freaking lost it when AFA said “Could we all please observe a very serious moment of silence, as we come to the realization that this police officers bleep never actually dropped…” and then the face…. 😅😅😅😅😅
I hoped the young man sued those officers who illegally detained him in handcuffs after the traffic stop was over. He should get a bundle as they will not get qualified immunity as it is well established law of when a person can be detained.
Absolutely no cop deserves the title Sir ever, respect is earned not demanded When a cop is fired, he or she should be fired period and not hired in a different department 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Its crazy, I stay 20 mins away and hearing about this blows my mind. Like in Collinsville,IL, there is no real crime in Collinsville. Just methheads and dopefiends. Why not go find them??? Get that money Rhoads
A most excellent presentation/ breakdown of the cult of Copiganda verses the power of knowing our rights & exercising our rights.👏🗽👏🗽👏🗽👏🗽👏🗽👏🗽👏 When people don't know their rights they have no right's.🗽
The stop is over no officer can tell you what you can and cannot do if you want to get out of your car you can period. Then after the stop was over and the man stated he had the right o do as he pleased. Then he detained him after the stop. For what exactly not getting in your car is now a reason for the stop was over period. . this not identifying and leaving, refusing, A citizen has a right to know any officer that had any contact with them and refusing has to stop. How can you make a complaint to if you have no idea who was there? It is exactly the reason they don’t identify. Never seen anything like this and it’s getting worse.
I use to live in that town for over 20 years. Have had many interactions with these pigs and been violated by them more times than I can remember. I can verify first hand they have always behaved this way, and ways way worse than captured on this video. Everyone from the St. Louis area know that town has the most bogus police, and always have. I avoid even going through it anymore unless absolutely necessary.
Pennsylvania v Mimms does not say that. “1. The order to get out of the car, issued after the respondent was lawfully detained, was reasonable, and thus permissible under the Fourth Amendment. The State's proffered justification for such order -- the officer's safety -- is both legitimate and weighty, and the intrusion into respondent's personal liberty occasioned by the order, being, at most, a mere inconvenience, cannot prevail when balanced against legitimate concerns for the officer's safety. “ The court’s determination was that police are safer with drivers are outside of the vehicle. They don’t get it both ways. expressio unius est exclusio alterius (if you expressly mention one thing you exclude another) The reason they get away with this is because you waived your rights for the privilege of driving.
I’m going to say it again, there are 6 components of the 1st Amendment: three clauses with two distinct rights each. Congress shall make no law: Religion: respecting an establishment of, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof; Expression: abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; Protest: the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and petition the Government for redress of grievances.
That's why I think you should go file your suit at their insurance company the insurance has to pay and if they get too many payouts guess what they lose their insurance and then they can't work at all until they get another Insurance Company to cover them and if they get too many no company will cover them so guess what there's no police force there. So I wouldn't file a lawsuit I would have file a suit against the insurance company for their clients Behavior and violating my rights to hell with qualified immunity go after their insurance
These are the kids that graduated(maybe) from high school that could not get hired any place else in town, the fast food places would not hire them because they knew them from the last four years of them hanging around after school in the dining room.
That is true once you give the tickets this stop is over asking for a supervisor because officer is still demanding to to do what they say after you have dis engaged and gave you the ticket you want to speak to the supervisor for his conduct, this is a separate issue not the infraction stop over. Officer trying to state because you ask for a supervisor the stop isn’t over that could apply and if you are contesting the tickets but this wasn’t the case. The officer stated he didn’t care if you sue, it seems to be the general mentality of officers and you hear this over and over on videos you don’t care if it’s not your money! Let them pay and you wouldn’t hear this.
BEFORE MIMMS IN 1977 I GOT OUT OF A CAR AND THE PIG THREATENED ME WITH ARREST IF I DIDNT GET BACK IN THE CAR . HE DIDNT ORDER ME OUT AND DIDNT ME TO STAY IN THE CAR EITHER, AT THE TIME . I GOT OUT TO SEE WTF THEY WERE DOING TO MY FRIEND THEY PUT ON THE GROUND AND I GUESS THE GOT SCARED , THIS WAS IN 1975.
