@frankalbergo8120 i didnt mean to sound terse, tractor pull guys get significant power from them but for short periods of time .....even marine and fire duty they turn them up from generator specs, increased fuel and rpm, but the service life decreases..... it is my personal feeling that 500 would take a 453 into a competition realm and out of a commercial realm.... it could be done ...but trades offs would be made.

@detroitgarage9430 whew, i have put press together crankshaft together and I know how hard it can be to drop a hot gear on a cold shaft and keep it aligned before it all sticks
