I think this engine would work best with a cvt as its best power zone seems to be around 1800rpm and could keep the revs there with a cvt

Look at your power curve you shouldn't rev it over 2400 rpm for the fastest acceleration

No sense to rev this thing to redline as it makes as little power as at idle there.
