When I had this game on the ps2 I had everything. All costumes unlocked for both dante and vergil, every difficulty beat with s ranks, every item bought at its maximum, max orbs you can carry, bloody palace beat. When I sold it to buy a ps3 I forgot about it. So I had to do it all again. When I sold my ps3 for a ps4 I'm currently doing it all again. Fuck me why do I hate myself
Vergil has the best costumes ever that he my favorite character along with Dante from this game Devil may cry 3 special Edition Along Lucia And Trish from Devil may cry 2.
Vergil may have less costumes than Dante, but he's got the best ones. Sparda DT, AFAIK, is just a reskin of the DT you're currently using. Meanwhile the Nero Angelo DT is basically new character.
It's a carryover from the original version of the game. Vergil wasn't originally playable and rather than having to duplicate the difficulty setting and have another name for it, they simply left it alone. It's different on DMC2 giving Dante Must Die and Lucia Must Die options but that game was seperated into two seperate discs so renaming one of the options on one disc wouldn't affect the other. After 3 though it kinda came tradition to keep the difficulty's name as Dante Must Die.
I've beaten the special edition like 1000 times in all f##king difficulties too, yet I've never played as those "super Dante/Sparda" and "super Vergil/corrup Vergil", not have I ever seen those chars in the game (in booth normal and special edition). Despite super Dante in normal edition, there's no such things like s. Vergil or s. Sparda. Unless it's a mod, so I'd ask the download link :v
For Vergil they should make Hairdown Vergil i wish they used it. The Hairdown Vergil is the same Vergil but his hair is down. I wish they would put to obtain this costume, beat the game on Normal difficulty.
do u have to beat it as both characters to get their super costumes or do they stack, does beating say VH mode with Vergil unlock both his and Dantes super form or just the character u beat it with? b(really dont wanna play them all twice)
Beating the game with one character will only give you costumes with that one character, you have to beat the game again with the other if you want their costumes.
did you know that when you have ether of them wear their costumes you can actually see a change in what lady has on in her battle fight and in the credits?
well nelo angelo is a behemoth the damage he does is STUPIDLY high not even dante using Beowulf in dt does as much damge as nelo angelo does not to mention that sword is fucking huge so of course its gunna be slower to swing
