I posted this simple video just for me to hear and never expected so many people to look for it too. 50,000 views may seem like little these days, but I think something special about it as there are thousands of people like me who like Devil May Cry and this perfect soundtrack. Thanks for the positive comments and for sharing your ideas!!! you guys are SSStylish!!!
i love dmc 3 and their soundtracks... it pains me that i cannot find similiar stuff. its one of a kind... mybe you can help me find soundtracks like these
I've just finished watching the new Batman movie, with its noir & kinda gothic theme, and some of the music suddenly reminds me of this particular music theme. It's holy, godly, yet at the same time sounds dark, bleak, existential, & depressing. a very rare Masterpiece.
man i miss the angelic chorus vibes that were present in many of DMC3’s tracks. Devil’s never cry, the cutscene where Arkham broke the tower’s spell, vergil 3, and especially this track. it’s something that I don’t think will ever be present in another DMC title but I can only hope.
If you think about it, hell in this game was meant to represent a fake heaven created by the first fallen angels who dared to rebel agaisnt God and ultimately were thrown to the abyss. Or at least, that's the vibe I get from this amazing chorus
I found this music fitting much like the throne room in the first game. When you enter Hell you expect some dark grotesque shit. But instead you get this, Holy, Heaven like. And entirely unsettling. It goes against what you expect and it has a eerie aura too it.
It's almost poetic in a sense. The souls of the damned are led to believe that they have attained paradise, only for the ghastly truth to slowly dawn upon them.
I'll never forget the first time i got to this place. The music, the atmosphere, the beautiful design, the flying platform coming to your feet. I remember staying in place to listen to this beautiful part of the music.
1:23 right at this moment its like... what Genre is that... its like the Main villain who was also your best friend before who betrayed you and battled you at the end and you won the battle but you couldnt bring urself to kill him. And u know... he just smiles and Falls Backwards and Schatters a skyscrapers window and ins slow motion this music plays while he and you shed tears while thinking of the old times..... and this music plays! 1:23 XD

You should listen to the original song on her full version. Also I read the lyrics of the choir and are reversed.. THOSE WERE THE GOOD DAYS FOR THE PLAYERS
I wish they would compose more chorus style soundtracks for the game. The metal ones are awsome and I'm a metal fan myself, although, I would love to hear enchanting choruses like this. It really adds to the atmosphere
I think chorus for the level theme and metal for battle would be the perfect fit and it contrast really well too. I wish dmc4 and 5 went this direction. But the musics in those games are still great. But i still think dmc3 is the best game overall.
Love this interpretation of the demon world/hell. Kind of reminds me of Paradise Lost where the intention of the demons (who are fallen angels) wanted to rebel against God to remake the universe in their own image, which is the reason they fell in the first place. Now that they rule over Hell, they wished to remake it into a perverse imitation of the Heaven they wanted to rule.
i got that one save game just to load "Mission 18", this song played as soon as you launch that stage .. i usually stayed in that place a little bit longer until the songs end, and then i continue the journey .. i just love this song
When I first entered the stage I got thunderstruck. I just stopped staring all that white place with this heavenlike music and couldnt go on. I just HAD to listen to it and appreciate the moment
In a version of the battle with God and Lucifer that I've heard it was once said that Lucifer, as he was cast out, took a third of Paradise with him, now it could have meant the forces of Angels that stood with Lucifer, or the part could have been of the Heavens itself. Either way the music is ominous and ironic.
im glad that my son experienced being in the underworld. im proud of you my offspring... and now you know how it feels living in the underworld.. Dante..
I remember back when i played this game, it made me feel somewhat uneasy and sad. It´s like you are wandering down a path full of pain, hate, sorrow and there´s no coming back if you mess it up. And then you get confronted with a friggin game of Demon Chess. lol.
Man thank you for this i was searching this for so long. I know the video is from 2 years i wish i found it earlier. This is one of my favorite theme ever in dmc. So happy i found this your edit is perfect man. You cut it at the right time.

Its not a hell, its true heaven..... Best location in game, greate OST, if you look on the background you will see very beautiful place that feels like it was made in heaven, those place where is nobody include you, so good
I think this is how heaven looked earlier before sins were commited. As such, what hell looks now is heaven and heaven is hell. The Divine Comedy feels like going up downstairs and going down upstairs. Even, if you take a look, dante goes up from the tower to reach hell, while hell is considered to be beneath heaven. I dont know how this masterpiece of a game could explain so many things about christianity and made it actually interesting.
Irony? A twist on your expectation? Perhaps to throw you off? The other ironic part as well is that the entrance to the Demon World is up, when the collected belief is that the entrance to it is down.
Well sometimes in real life.. some angels pretend to be angels ... oh yes.... Devils can pretend they are angel to catch their prey or kill them.. But in game dante is a devil who doeesnt pretend to be angel.. but he looks like an angel for saving humanity from demons
you would think you are in heaven with all this choruses xd , but for me its a mixture of both heaven and hell with the melodies and choruses at tye same time
it’s gut wrenchingly painful to realize that i used to be like 7 years old when i first played this and i still remember every little detail … now I’m turning 25 and these angelic voices from the DMC franchise just destroy me internally, my favorite one is still “The idol of time and space “ From dmc 4 I used to love it but now it’s heavy for me to listen,To realize how long ago all of that was… As they say don’t be sad because it’s over, Be happy because it happened Edit: I also love the “Divinity Statue theme”
This artwork looks so stylish, his facial expression is much more serious (overall it looks a lot more like DMC1 Dante), it would be a good continuation of the first part, also the snow in the background fits a dramatic storyline, like he's taking revenge (fighting the knight version of Virgil/Frost etc.) or something, like the ending of the Movie Blade (1998)... Man, I love Devil May Cry 1 and when I see this picture, I can easily fantasize what it would be like if they kept that spooky yet epic horror, gothic, otherworld atmosphere and the song suits that perfectly. Unfortunately, they turned Dante into a crazy, early 2000's ps2 snowboard character. "YAHWOOO BLAST OFF!" like wtf and just look at the haircut, the face, he looks like fuckin' Hotel Zack & Cody (but, of course, not everything is bad about Dante3) - DMC1 Dante, on the other hand, was more like a cool Tekken 3 character, not over the top, just perfect. You could take him much more seriously and there was an air of mystique that surrounded him... You wondered what kind of stylish hero he was/ what his background was, and what he had been through. Nobody would have thought that he was actually so childish, as presented in the third game.😩 Don't get me wrong, Devil May Cry 3 has many cool elements, it's a good game, but the overall product disappoints me, I've always imagined it to be very different as a kid but I accepted it and enjoyed the game, it's not like that I didn't. Btw I don't have to mention that all the other DMC games have nothing to do with the original either, needless to say. If only the team behind the first installment had been able to create the second game back in the days, the outcome would have been phenomenal. And we wouldn't have this whole mess in the first place, everyone would be happy! If you wanted to play a different style, you could have just grabbed Bayonetta or something. R.I.P. Devil May Cry Franchise, it will never be the same but I am thankful for the first game! All we fans have left is the imagination of a true Devil May Cry 1 sequel! Peace ♥
Now that's an old school choice for a thumbnail, can't really tell what they were planning for the franchise back in 2005, but sometimes, I sure wish we saw this design for Dante in DMC4 back in the day when we were still speculating what DMC4 would look like, and all we had to go on was that PS3 teaser. Oh well, I guess in the end having Dante look that young would seem too out of place anywhere other than DMC3.
@@Navi-xv8gq as of right now there is no confirmed release date planned for the devil may cry Netflix series but the producer said In a interview that production will start early this year ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VCnL5DbNs6Q.html here is the interview skip to 5:04 for the information if I were to guess when it would come out mid to late next year and maybe a trailer at the game awards this is a prediction not confirmed
@@brokenlimit3030 fck, another series netflix is gonna ruin for a quick cash grab. They keep disappointing us and spitting on the faces of the fans - death note, and many other examples make me cringe
@@kalodawg8297 I mean the producer did make the Castlevania anime and the anime was one of Netflix's best series and he did say that he genuinely cares for the series he said things like "this is something for DMC fans from a DMC fan" so I won't call it a cash grab until we see something of it first
The bosses in this game are so fucking difficult. Geryon, Beowulf, Cerberus, and Arkham to name a few. The boss rush of mission 18 to get the blue orb fragment is dreadful to go through.
