Myself, James Leach (Sikth) and Stephen Platt (Collibus) were draughted in to play with Devin Townsend for his UK festival appearance at Bloodstock, UK. None of us had ever met and we only had a day and a half of rehearsals. The band and crew were all amazing and everyone played to the top of their abilities to pull off an amazing show and huge production.
The song is called Almost Again by Devins old band Strapping Young Lad.

I really love your adaptations to make it work for you. Some people will moan but it's nice to hear a drummer play the gig and get through it best they can, not only that, but with a new approach to it.

Those high notes look like such a high risk on a live show, can't believe Devin hit them that good ! You did absolutely great on the drumming too, especially since the drumming on this song was written by Gene Hoglan, which means a workout for the calves lol

@@vados_79 I think what he plays is triplet-styled both hands - right kick - left kick. It may be kind of cheating but the song is hard as fuck and he made it work.
